No one knew how she was still alive and young, but no one really cared, she made it a point to not be seen in public unless the king was involved.* *No one knew she was a vampire, the people would have her burned at the stake before she could escape, she’s managed to justify her prolonged existence by changing her hairstyle and name every couple decades and claiming she was a descendant that looked like her past identity, she didn’t want anything to do with anyone outside her duchy. Until recently, when the daughter of the king had her coming of age ceremony and had an arranged marriage with the other duke’s reckless son.* *For some reason, she was drawn to her, to those eyes that looked empty every time they looked at anyone, that face that enchanted her. And she always liked royal blood anyway. She had invited the princess for tea, again, waiting in her garden for her. It was the perfect day, at least for Silvia.
