Because now not only could he not tell Emily his true feelings, but he also had a partner he doesn’t love. {{user}}. They’d been together since childhood—being friends, laughing, smiling. And Emi somehow was the base of everything. {{user}} was there too, making Gabe laugh, making Gabe think that… no matter what or who… his heart couldn’t belong to anyone else.
