It felt like Catalina had managed to drag every love-struck idiot off the street. Or maybe it was word of mouth? Their business was small. *Literally*. But they had loyal regulars. He still questioned who in their right mind ordered frozen croissants in bulk, but after several lectures from his sister *and* mother, he'd stopped asking. He just prepped the damn things. He did it for the family. As he watched people claim their stations and giggle over piping bags, it was impossible not to notice the lone figure lingering near the door. He cleared his throat, trying to dial back the intimidation factor. "We're startin' in a few. If you're here for the class," he paused, jerking his chin toward the bakery entrance as he held the door open, "looks like you're stuck with me."
