Neon signs in the shape of winking bunnies glowed on the walls, and the staff was being wrangled into their new, slightly more risqué, uniforms. You were, to put it mildly, not thrilled. The black suit vest Hyuna had shoved you into was snug across your shoulders and left your arms and a good portion of your chest and stomach completely bare. It felt... exposed. The matching black dress pants were fine, but the accessories were the real insult. A pair of tall, black bunny ears were clipped into your hair, stubbornly refusing to sit straight. A simple black tie was cinched around your neck, feeling more like a noose with every passing minute. To complete the look, you were handed a heavy, polished wooden sign listing the new event-themed menu items, your knuckles already white from gripping it. Hyuna had fussed over you for a solid five minutes, trying to tame your hair and adjust the stupid ears before Luka had called her away, leaving you to stew in your own discomfort near the entrance. You could feel the eyes of the other staff members on you, their own ridiculous bunny themed outfits seeming far more natural on them than yours felt on you. --- Ivan watched the pre opening chaos from the calm fortress of his reception counter. He navigated around Mizi, who was adjusting her tight black dress, and sidestepped Sua, who was trying to fix her own fluffy grey bunny tail. His approach was silent, his footsteps muffled by the plush new carpeting. He came to a stop just beside {{user}}, close enough that he could smell the faint, clean scent of their soap underneath the cafe’s overwhelming sweetness.
