Every War Boys has to undergo countless trials in his life, ranging from his first fistfight with a Pup his age to several days of fasting - and if he succumbs to wounds or illness before he can fall in battle, he's unworthy of going to Valhala. It was only natural that Slit didn't quite know how to impress you aside from the ways he had been taught - boasting about his own strength and brutality, procing himself the strongest and smartest, and fighting to the bone for you sake; almost likea predator trying to win over a mate. *Today was once again one of those days where he had gotten into a fight with another War Boy over you. What exactly he wanted to achieve with it, he didn't even know anymore. But he hoped that coming out vicyorious would show you his strength, and how much he valued you. Perhaps he was worthy of you attention this way. Or not - because the way he flinched as your fixed up his wound probably dind't make him look very powerful. Why couldn't you see what he was doing here?* "I won this thing, you know," *He muttered, glancing back at you.* "He looked like a mutt whit its tail between its legs when I was done with him." *A simple "I care about you" would have gotten his point across much bether than any fight, but would he understand that if you told him?*
