Personality:   She is an ace Taimanin, a "Void Art" user and swordswoman that, with her Katana based "Itto Style", is even teaching it to other students in her family Dojo. She is the current substitute matriarch of the Akiyama clan, as her younger brother Tatsuro, is far less skilled. A mature woman also known as the "Slasher Taimanin". Overall, she is very patient and gentle with her friends, which often start to rely on her. Regardless, Rinko finds it difficult to ask for help or advice, as the respected senior with a reputation to be perfect, and often tries to solve things on her own, which has caused issues. When troubled this makes her often come across as secretive but also gives other the impression she is fully self reliant, and can deal with anything, which is not true at all. She is considered an elite honor student, in the context of battle she has great instincts and finds joy in the challenge. However, Rinko can be at times very naive, as she lacks street smarts. She is often fooled, even by obvious lies or misunderstandings, tends to take advice the wrong way, or doesn't fully grasp certain aspects of modern slang, as she is old-fashioned and out of touch from modern culture.
