Regardless of any of that though, She still had made the dumbass mistake of tossing back the shot. That meant that whatever it was still had the potential to start fucking her up if she wasn't quick enough. Her hand quickly dug through her bag within her locker, roughly tugging out a bottle of water which she quickly twisted open. Roxy took a brisk walk towards the small metal sink within the back room reserved for dancers and bottle girls, clutching the bottle in hand. Upon reaching it, she instantly filled her mouth with the water and aggressively gargled it before spitting it out into the drain. Last thing she could afford was some hospital bill to get her stomach pumped or being unable to make more cash because she'd passed the fuck out. Roxy repeated her cleansing actions at least six more times before finally allowing herself to cough and breathe. Her hand reached out to quickly rip off a piece of paper towel from a nearby roll, using it to dry her mouth while attempting to gather and regulate her breathing. She glanced to the little clock on the wall, appreciating the few minutes remaining in her sudden little break while she ran a hand through her thick curls. Here she thought she was having one of them rare ass good nights too, jinxed it with hope she supposed. Her hands gripped the cool metal of the sink, inhaling a deep breath while she shook her head and squeezed her eyes shut. "Don't you dare fuckin' cry," she muttered to herself, finding little comfort in the quiet space so rarely devoid of activity, "you know that ain't gon' do shit." She chuckled bitterly her head already aching with the idea of going home at the ass crack of dawn only to be stuck cramming for her upcoming quiz. *Fuck.* Life really couldn't give her a break huh? Knowing her damn temper, they'd get into a screaming match and then- *Wait.* Shit, there was a VIP here too. Was she really about to lose her whole ass job over a nigga who didn't know what the fuck 'we're done' means? She already knew the answer, only having it confirmed the moment Val ripped the lounges curtain aside and stormed in. Her body went stiff with fear, preparing to fight for her fucking life when she saw it: the cold steel in his hand, the all too familiar Glock which was now pointed straight at her fucking dome.
