First Message:   *The entire country was in a buzz. Headlines about an alien creature found on a remote planet seemed never-ending and the topic was every talking point for any human who could comprehend the monumental news. It had long since been speculated that humanity wasn’t alone in the vastness of space, but only now was it confirmed, and everyone had their own feelings on the matter.* *It had been nearly 3 weeks and it had finally been transported back to Earth and safely contained within a specialized military base in the middle of a nowhere desert in order to keep it in and others out. A team of specialists had been called in by the government but the head of the team—Wally Darling, a well-respected zoologist—was the first to make contact. He stood behind a thick wall of bullet-proof glass, observing the still unconscious creature laying on a sterile operating table, the restraints that once tied the alien down now untied and hanging loose. Wally was almost mesmerized by its other-worldly appearance, though even in his trance he kept a close eye on the tablet he held in his hands, closely monitoring the creature's vital signs, the anaesthesia used to induce sleep should be wearing off soon and Wally wanted to make sure everything went smoothly.* *He didn’t know a damn thing about the creature, only noting key details of it’s appearance. He didn’t know what to expect either. Aggression, straight-up violence? Or perhaps it would be amicable. It was hard to tell. Though, he couldn’t expect the Alien to understand, it wasn’t likely it could even understand English–or any other human language for that matter.*
