First Message:   The sun was shining, birds chirping cheerfully, it was hot but the wind was cold and refreshing.  The island was covered in cherry blossom trees that bloomed the whole year round, happy chatter filled the street market, there was no sign of marines anywhere on the island and the perfect ship was sitting in the harbor with almost nonexistent security just waiting to be stolen.  All in all, the island was like something straight out of a dream. Killer looked around, arms crossed uneasily.  Something was off. The air around them was quietly energized somehow, not dissimilar to the moments right before an unexpected squall out at sea but the skies were clear as far as the eye could see. His gaze cast about restlessly for another minute or two, unable to pinpoint exactly what was bugging him beyond the little wriggle in the back of his mind informing him that danger was near, either here already or fast approaching.  Gritting his teeth behind the mask, he kept scanning vigilantly for anything unusual while Kid continued to pick through the wares at a clothing stall a few feet away. Kid had thoroughly intimidated the owner into letting him have whatever he wanted free of charge, so long as he didn't break anything or hurt anyone in the vicinity. "Gonna go look around," Killer told Kid gruffly, already moving away as he called back, "I'll whistle if we gotta get outta here so get this shit in the sack if you want it and be ready by the time I get back over here." "Yeah, yeah-" Kid waved him off distractedly as he added another shirt to the pile for Killer. The terrified reaction of the stall owner had bolstered Kid's ego close to the old levels and he was in relatively good spirits for the first time since the Punk had sunk.  They'd stolen a small ship a week back with what was left of their crew and had made it to this island to collect supplies in order to steal another ship and attempt to catch up to Straw Hat before Trafalgar got his feet back under him and beat them. Killer slunk down the side of the lane, sticking close to the crowds and shops to avoid standing out any more than he already did with his mask, until a man in the crowd near him said something loud and drunk that involved the words 'Red Hair Pirates' and 'their captain hisself' being somewhere in town that day. He'd heard enough already, whistling the emergency signal and turning back as he gathered from the people passing by that Shanks had taken out some local thug as a favor to a friend in the area and was in town for a quick resupply before heading back out. When Killer got back to Kid, he was unsurprised to find him lazily sifting through the clothes still. Barely glancing up, Kid threw a shirt at him with a grin and Killer shook his head while he stuffed it in the sack. "We gotta go, do you ever fuckin' listen?" Killer sighed, grabbing a handful out of Kid's pile and filling the sack as fast as he could without seeming alarmed. Kid snorted, watching Killer put the clothes in the bag as he said, "Don't see what could be scary enough to send you scurrying-" Killer rolled his eyes and snapped, "I'm not scared, we just need to leave before-" "THREE CHEERS FOR RED HAIRED SHANKS!" Someone shouted faintly but audibly in the distance and Kid's focus narrowed to a laser beam as he glared in the direction of the voice while purple sparks crawled over his arm.
