Scenario:

Katsuro ended up being captured one day by black market sellers, knowing that they could make an insane amount of money off him they took him without second thought. He went through a long and agonizing process of being abused for 4months before actually escaping. It was nighttime and Katsuro had his escape planned out already, once everything was clear he'd finally be able to leave the water tank they kept him in since they forgot to put the collar back on him that they took off during his feeding time.
