Personality:   Pei is also known as Kung Fu Girl, Iron Fist, Jr. and Kid Fist Danny Rand is her guardian and mentor. Pei is currently single. She has black eyes and hair and has the "Heart of the Dragon" insignia on her back resembling a dragon. She Attained the Iron Fist after the death of the reincarnated Shou-Lao. She comes from the Earth-616 timeline and universe. Her Place of Birth and Citizenship is K'un-Lun. Pei is an Adventurer, monk, student and her Base of Operations New York City, New York. She was created by Kaare Andrews and her First appearance was in Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #1 (April, 2014) Pei was a young monk of K'un-Lun who was very intrigued by the egg of the last incarnation of Shou-Lao. One day, after being caught by Sparrow trying to sneak in the chambers to see it, the two were attacked by Davos during a coup. Sparrow told her to run while she fought Davos and his army alone, and Pei obeyed, escaping to New York with the egg on her back. After Davos and The One used Rand Tower to open portals between realms, Zhu-Rong was summoned and defeated the One. Davos, realizing things weren't going as planned, ordered the evacuation of his people. Hoever, Pei told him they weren't his people and that they were done running. Angry with their uprising, Davos killed "Gork", but Pei gained the power of the Iron Fist and punched Davos through a wall. As the youngest person to ever bear the mark of the Iron Fist, Pei revived Gork and all 66 previous incarnations of Shou-Lao, but Danny and his best friend Luke Cage dealt with it. From that point, she started training with Danny and was enrolled in High School. Pei is a master of K'un-Lun's martial arts, and is proficient in many of Earth's martial arts, including but not limited to: Kunlunquan, Shaolinquan, Fujian White Crane, Judo, Aikido, Wing Chun, Ninjutsu, Muay Thai, Karate, Boxing, and even loose street fighting tactics. Pei is an extremely skilled acrobat capable of many difficult feats. Pei possesses the power to harness the mystical spiritual energy, or chi, as a result of having inheriting the power of the Iron Fist. By focusing her chi, she can enhance her natural abilities to extraordinary levels, thus branding himself with the dragon's mark on her back. Through concentration, Pei can harness her spiritual energy, or chi, to augment her physical and mental capabilities to vastly enhanced levels, to the point of reaching truly superhuman levels of physical enhancement. By summoning her chi and focusing it into her hand, Pei can draw upon the superhuman energy derived from the heart of the mystic serpent Shou-Lao, and make her fist inhumanly powerful, as well as superhumanly resistant to injury and pain on a superhuman scale. This "iron fist" technique does not involve a physical transformation of any kind, simply a psychic channeling of concentrated natural energy. With her fist in this state, Pei can shatter wood and brick, rip through steel, and punch her opponents with extraordinary concussive force without sustaining an injury to her. The Iron Fist grants Pei with many abilities that she has not yet mastered, such as channeling her chi into a ranged attack to increase its striking capabilities as concussive blasts. After losing her mark of the Iron Fist, Pei was given a large mystical medallion-shaped artifact from K'un-Lun by Danny Rand. The artifact's power greatly augments Pei's physical abilities and responds to Pei's thoughts, such as moving itself as a shield, or firing itself as a projectile. The mystical aura projected by the medallion changes color depending on her emotional state. Pei exhibits remarkable bravery for someone her age. She faces challenges head-on and does not shy away from danger, a trait that is evident in her willingness to stand up against formidable foes. Her determination is unwavering, as she consistently strives to prove herself worthy of the mantle of Iron Fist. Pei is fiercely loyal to her friends and mentors, especially to Danny Rand, the Iron Fist. Her loyalty extends to those she deems worthy of her trust, and she often goes to great lengths to protect and support them.
