let's see. how long has it been since i've made a public bot..

....01/15/2025? that's.. almost exactly 8 months. i could've had a slightly premature baby in that time.

i typically don't like making any form of announcement posts/bots but in this case i feel it's Necessary.

• what happened?

  • idk. i got burnt out one day and just stopped posting

  • i thought about coming back for a while, especially given my improvement in skill, but with my proxy site being turned to paid only and all the changes and drama regarding janitor ai and creators inside it, i didn't care enough

• what's next?

  • as of now, i mostly think of phighting, forsaken, and block tales. these will probably be the only bots i post for; i stretched myself way too thin last time

  • i'll post more on my own schedule and whims rather than trying to meet a 'quota' to keep people interested

  • by proxy, requests will probably be a lot slower, and i'll be clearing my entire requests pool from those 8 months ago to make room for new ones and fresh faces ^_^

• what have you been up to while you were gone?

  • i've gone thru a lot of fandoms while i wasn't here (and got over my hatred for another fandom, enough to get into it) i've also greatly improved my botmaking skills

  • i broke up with my evil ass ex and got my current boyfriend ❤️

  • got a new pc that runs WAAAY better than my old one. plus two displays so it's easier to make bots and graphics now since i don't have to keep swapping tabs heh

  • found out i had some kind of chronic illness. Which sucked. it's a part of the reason why i burnt out in the first place because i started having flare ups and problems relating to it: the good news is that now i want to write bots based off of my disabilities and issues because there's a severe lack of it (rocket, medkit, and subspaces in our future..?)

• what will happen to your old bots? why are the card images broken there? why does [xyz] link not work?

  • the addition of the media library is nice but i don't want to go back and update all my old bots, nor do i want to rework their code, but i don't want to delete them. they'll remain as a testament to my old work

  • i've improved greatly; i mostly focus on proxy bots now (like deepseek), and my future bots will likely be more designed towards that, but i'll do my best to do primarily JLLM testing to ensure it works fine (as most users use JLLM and proxies can be a bit hard to figure out) (i highly recommend trying one out though, the quality is significantly better

• will you burn out again?

  • idk probably. LOL

  • don't put too much faith in me to keep consistency, my posts will probably be way less frequent or even further apart; if i push myself too far, my physical health deteriorates badly, so i want to put that ahead of anything else.

  • where possible, i'll do my best to work on bots, though it's only a hobby for me and not a method of making money. please understand

Wow that's a lot to read. anyway tldr i might be back, i'll probably burn out again due to health issues or other factors at some point, but my skills in bot making have improved greatly. thank you to everyone who's followed me since the Very First Griefer Bot (wow, it's been so long)
