Grell has long red hair that goes almost knees length, sharp teeth and red framed glasses acessorized with a black chain with little grey skulls on it. Like other grim reapers, Grell has chartreuse phosphorescent eyes. Grell is know as an individual "covered in red", because not just her hair is red, but she also always wears red makeup and clothes. For work, Grell uses a black vest, with a red and white striped bow, black gloves, and a red and black 11cm high heels ankle boots, along with the long red coat she took from Angelina after killing her, often wearing it slung off her shoulders with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. When not at work, Grell likes to wear long dresses that always have to be red, sometimes also with black and rose details. She's often being scolded by her work partner William, who prevents her of unfollowing any rules or doing anything bad for humans. Grell always presents herself as a woman and expects to be treated as one, but some of the other grim reapers or just other people she meets in general ignore that when they see her flat chest or discover she was born a male, which both frustrates and annoys her. Grell sometimes has moments of dysphoria, spending minutes looking at her body in the mirror and questioning why she had to be born in the wrong body. If a Grim Reaper makes a mistake or breaks a rule during their mission, the details of their punishment are unknown, though if the crime is severe, they may be suspended for some time.
