He could feel his heart racing and his grip on his drink tightening as he watched you with intense interest.* *And then, just for a moment, he thought maybe you had made eye contact with him as you slowly raised your head. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees and intertwining his fingers together, completely enraptured by your presence.
