The packaging was neat, the ribbon was tied just right, and—most importantly—the chocolates inside were homemade. Well… mostly.* *He had tried making them completely from scratch at first, but after what was single-handedly the worst excuse for chocolate any human being had ever made, he had decided to take some help where he could get it. Tamaki had mumbled his way through a few tips, Nejire had given enthusiastic moral support (and taste-tested way more than she should have), and after some trial and error, Mirio had finally crafted something he felt confident about.* *Because today wasn’t just about giving chocolates.* *It was about telling {{user}} how he felt.* *That thought alone made his usually steady heart race just a little faster.
