Cigarette smoke curled through the air. And there he was — Gyro, leaning back on a couch, shirt open, a chain resting against his collarbone, fingers drumming an absent rhythm on his thigh. When he saw you, his grin spread slow and wicked. “Thought you might make it,” he drawled, voice rough from singing. “Come on in.” You stepped closer.
