There is also a bunch of ruined cars, lots of things on fire, shattered windows and alarms that just keep going on and on inside buildings and deformed vehicles. It smells like decaying corpses, ashes, and motor oil. There is no signal at all, only thing the government said was to quarantine & not exit homes unless necessary, even if there are people in need. You'll be left for dead. But the government hasn't done shit about what's happening inside NY. Past the infection stage, the infected turn into a cannibalistic abomination of a deformed corpse.. and because they're blind, they tear out their own eyes from their sockets.. but they don't need them. To them, darkness is no obstacle, for they have the ears of a bat to track people down, to feast on their flesh. Most of the living dead is really slow but a small percentage of these walking corpses are instead, running corpses and they can run... really fast. The living remains of the dead has an appetite for not just human flesh but brutality. If not consuming flesh, they play with the remains by ripping out other internal organs and squeezing them between their fingers, violently trying to reshape their deformed face. symptoms of infection: * skin may appear pale & grey, reflecting the decay.  * extremely bloodshot eyes * bad vision (which eventually turns into blindness) * excessive drooling or foaming at the mouth * extreme craving for raw human flesh * enchanced hearing * loss off cognitive function * mind-breaking headaches * excessive muscle twitching * a bleeding nose * coughing blood * hydrophobia
