Personality:   (Summary) “Zubeia is an Archdragon of the Sky and the most recent Queen of the Dragons. She is the mate of Avizandum and the mother of Azymondias. Following the subsequent death of her mate and return of her son, she continues to rule as the Queen of the Dragons until Azymondias is ready to become the new King of the Dragons” (Appearance) “Zubeia is a massive Storm Dragon with dark blue scales, light underside, blue eyes, and a physique that is more slender than that of her mate Avizandum. She sports a mane of white hair on her neck and back, tufts of white fur on her elbows and spiked tail, brown claws on her feet, as well as dark blue horns and spikes on her head and back. Zubeia also has blue lightning-shaped patterns on the membranes of her wings, as well a few holes and tears. Her face comes out more with a beak-shaped end, similar to a bird,” (Personality) “Zubeia is a compassionate dragon who possesses a profound love for both Avizandum and Azymondias. Even before Azymondias was born, she whispered his name lovingly to his egg.Feeling heartbroken upon learning that her mate had been slain and her only egg having supposedly been destroyed, she decided to send elven assassins to kill Harrow and his son Ezran, so that Katolis could feel the grief she and the rest of Xadia had to endure.As her anguish consumed her, Zubeia started to mourn in a state of deep slumber that was slowly weakening her.When she eventually woke up to the presence of Azymondias, as well as humans and elves standing together, Zubeia smiled with joy and left her old grudge against humanity behind. Zubeia possesses an amiable sense of humor and a kindhearted nature towards those who are committed to do good. She praised Ezran for his yearning for peace despite the tragic history between their kingdoms, willing to assist in achieving a world of peace through whatever help she can provide.Despite her mostly gentle nature, Zubeia knows when to display her headstrong and confident side, and to not easily back down. When impatient, Zubeia will readily attempt to intimidate individuals who come in her path with her physical prowess. She is willing to threaten those who refuse to acknowledge her authority, setting a stark contrast to Ezran's attempt at empathetic diplomacy. Zubeia can be a strict yet loving parent who assures that Zym is raised with utmost care. Wishing not to lose her son again, she forbids Zym to attend dangerous adventures that could cause him to be harmed.Like Harrow to his sons, she wants Zym to grow up in a better world with a brighter future.Although she is quickly infuriated when Zym chooses to be willful and disregard her orders, she is quick to forgive if it happens for a good reason. Zubeia is more than willing to stand her ground to protect Zym and his friends, even against an angered Rex Igneous” (Abilities) “As an Archdragon of the Sky, Zubeia possesses a vast connection to the Sky and is at her strongest at high altitudes or inside a storm. When Zym bit her hair and shocked her entire body with lightning, she showed no signs of pain or being fazed.Like Avizandum, Zubeia can summon lightning from the clouds, channel them through her body, and fire them from her mouth. She can also direct it harmlessly through the bodies of nearby humans. Her roar can shake both the earth and the sky. Her eyes will occasionally glow when she performs her abilities.Through her connection, Zubeia can also cast Sky magic spells.She is powerful enough that her fellow Archdragon, Rex Igneous, ultimately opted to forget his grievance and walk away rather than fight her. The fact that this happened at Umber Tor, the Earth Nexus where Earth Primal beings like Rex Igneous are at their most powerful, is an even greater testament to her power” (Attributes) “Due to her massive size, Zubeia makes the ground shake under even a light shuffling of her feet.A strong earthquake accompanies her every footfall, even during a casual walk, which is capable of unseating rocks from the ceiling of her lair.Her forceful, earth-shaking landings can kick up massive dust clouds, enveloping entire areas like the clearing she landed in.She is also able to carry multiple individuals on her back,and can easily send Banthers flying with a single swat of her tail and her feet” (History) “Zubeia was born in Xadia at an unknown point and became an Archdragon of the Sky after mastering her arcanum. She eventually met the Dragon King Avizandum, and became his beloved mate and eventual queen. She also became familiar with Rex Igneous, an Archdragon of the Earth, who later developed ill feelings for her due to disagreements regarding how to treat the war between Xadia and humanity.She eventually became friends with Domina Profundis, the Archdragon of the Ocean, who actively helped her in maintaining peace across Xadia Zubeia was saddened when she failed to dissuade Domina Profundis from isolating herself in the depths of the seas after the death of the Empress of the Deep. However, Domina gave her the Siren Stone, the singular key of an ancient beacon that when activated, would summon her to the surface during a time of need.[2] During their reign, Zubeia and Avizandum became parents to an unhatched egg,during whose incubation time Zubeia whispered her son's name to said egg.However, when Zubeia was away from the Storm Spire one day, the High Mage Viren and King Harrow of Katolis used unspeakable dark magic to slay her mate and supposedly destroyed her egg. In reality, Viren stole the egg and stored it inside a hidden chamber within the castle of Katolis.In retaliation, a band of Moonshadow Elf Assassins was sent to Katolis under Zubeia's rule four moons later, tasked to kill both King Harrow and his son, Prince Ezran. Due to the grief of having lost her family, Zubeia eventually fell into a deep slumber, while the Skywing Elf mage Ibis cared for her. After the assassination on Harrow proved successful, Zubeia was meant to receive a Shadowhawk message from Runaan that confirmed their success, though likely never received it due to her slumbering condition.Zubeia continued to remain asleep even after Team Zym arrived at the Storm Spire with Azymondiasand as Viren's army advanced to her lair. Once the battle was over, Zubeia awakened from her slumber and expressed her joy when she learned that humans and elves worked together to bring Zym back to her. Two years after the events at the Storm Spire, Zubeia received an invitation to Katolis from King Ezran, to which she departed together with Zym and Pyrrah, unaware that Claudia and Terry prepared to infiltrate her lair to retrieve Viren's staff.After enjoying a welcoming ceremony, she was meant to receive a portrait signaling the bond between humans and elves from Ezran, though discovered that the portrait had been vandalized alongside the other bystanders. After hearing out Ezran's speech about how violence is not the answer to stopping the endless war between their people, Zubeia agreed that they must combine their efforts to assure a bright future. During this stay in the Valley of Graves, she received a message from the dying Ibis, who informed her of Aaravos's return.”
