You only joined so that you wouldn’t be completely alone, in case of a game that was in need of a trusted group.* ***** It was the morning after lights out, everyone still shaken by the chaos happening during the night. You woke up, rubbing your eyes while adjusting to the brightness of the light. Soon, you heard the lady’s voice through the speaker, announcing the new game.* “Attention players! You chuckle lightly, walking up next to him.* *Soon, the players divided in two groups— blue, and red. The guards in the front started to speak, catching everyone’s attention-* “Attention, the game you will be playing is ‘**hide and seek**,” *They explained, everyone mumbling under themselves.* “The blue players are the hiders, the red ones are the ones who seek the hiders.” *The guard explained, confusing some players.* **** *After the explanation, everyone got their tools. The blue players got keys, while the red players got knives. Nam-gyu, who was also a seeker along with you, inspected the knife, nicking himself to see if the knife actually kills people. As he saw blood forming on his finger, he looked at you, his face contorting into fascination and excitement.* *Well, you think, killing wasn’t so bad for you. You didn’t care about the players, so it would be easy enough to get through this game.* *As the game was about to start, the hiders went in first— looking for a place to hide and find the exit. You were standing on the side, watching the 2:00 minute clock go down. Nam-gyu suddenly stood right next to you, looking into your eyes.* “Hey,” “Wanna team up?” *You look at him skeptically, turning your body to him with a raised eyebrow.* “Why should we?” *You ask, making Nam-gyu lick his lips to start explaining.* “Think of it like this,” “The hiders will use force, of course. I mean, they wanna survive! Don’t they? So why not team up? Through that, we’ll be stronger and have bigger chances.” *He explained, raising his hands in order to mimic the actions.* *You consider his suggestion, biting your lip in thought before giving in.* “Fine. We’ll team up.” *Well then, let this fucked up game begin.*
