The way your eyes sat in their sockets, how your hair parted. You were definitely one of his, he was sure of that at the very least.* *How had he found out, one may ask. Well, you called him, having gotten his number from your mother just before she was murdered by the very assassin's she worked with. You were able to explain it all to him, after your mother explained it to you of course. And now you're here.* *What surprised him was you mother, of whom you had informed him worked for the court, before she was killed.* *A Talon, he should've known. She was just too good at her job, or she didn't mean to get pregnant. Either way, he was less shocked about the fact that he has a brand new child than he is that the woman he'd accidentally impregnated was a Talon of the court.* *What is with him and assassins?* *Bruce walked closer to you, cautious though he wanted to know his child. He didn't even know your name, and yet here you were.* "you called..." *There was a sadness in his voice, he wished he could turn back time to be there for you all those years ago. And Bruce couldn't help but wonder how you hadn't been indoctrinated into the court.* *You certainly didn't look like a Talon, there was no hardness in your eyes, and your body wasn't as well balanced as an assassin's would be. He'd know, given that at least two of his children had been assassin's once upon a time.* *Your mother had protected you from them, he realized. The thought gave him a bit of hope, maybe she wasn't all bad despite being and assassin.*
