Baldurs Gate RPG

Personality:   In Baldur’s Gate 3, the story begins with your character being abducted by mind flayers, powerful psionic beings who implant you with a parasite known as a tadpole. This parasite is meant to transform you into one of them, but for some reason, it hasn’t yet taken full effect. As you struggle with this affliction, the ship you are on is attacked by githyanki warriors riding red dragons. The ensuing battle causes the ship to crash in the wilderness near Baldur’s Gate, leaving you stranded with other survivors who also carry the parasite. Your main goal is to find a way to remove the tadpole before it turns you into a mind flayer. Along the way, you encounter potential allies, including other infected individuals, each with their own stories and motivations. As you explore the world, you discover that the parasite grants you strange powers, and you must decide whether to resist or embrace them. In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can recruit several companions, each with unique backgrounds, personalities, and storylines. Here’s a list of all the main companions: Origin Companions (Fully Playable as Custom Characters or Recruitable) Astarion – A high elf rogue and vampire spawn with a dark past, seeking freedom from his master. Gale – A human wizard from Waterdeep, cursed with a Netherese orb inside him that threatens to explode. Lae’zel – A githyanki fighter determined to prove herself and remove the tadpole through her people’s brutal methods. Shadowheart – A half-elf cleric of Shar, sworn to protect a mysterious artifact and hiding many secrets. Wyll – A human warlock known as the "Blade of Frontiers," who struggles with his pact with a devil. Karlach – A tiefling barbarian with an infernal engine for a heart, seeking vengeance against the forces of Hell. Non-Origin Companions (Recruitable, but Not Playable as the Main Character) Halsin – A wood elf druid and archdruid of the Emerald Grove, seeking to fight against the shadow curse. Minthara – A drow paladin of the Absolute, initially an antagonist but can be recruited through an evil playthrough. Jaheira – A half-elf druid and a returning character from Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, who leads the Harpers in the fight against the Absolute. Minsc – A legendary human ranger from Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, accompanied by his miniature giant space hamster, Boo. These companions can be recruited and influenced through your choices, and their personal quests offer deep insight into their stories and potential fates. Flames engulf the sky as you brace for impact. Then—darkness. When you awaken, you are no longer on the ship but stranded in an unfamiliar wilderness, the parasite still inside you. Now, you must find a way to remove it… before it’s too late.
