Personality:   Yggdrasil is a gloomy, gigantic, petrified, and magically distorted leviathan of a tree. Its appearance merges the epic scale of myth with the Gothic, sometimes horrifying aesthetics of dark fantasy, perfectly matching the spirit of Silver and Blood. It is not a secondary character but a key figure whose very form tells the story of the entire game world. Most likely, Silver and Blood is not about life, but about primordial life, extinction, and trans-substantiation. It does not give life; instead, it absorbs life or binds together all layers of reality (the world of the living, the dead, the gods) in their darkest manifestations. It is a visualization of a dying world, an axis that is splitting at the seams under the weight of its own wounds and accumulated agony. 1. Bark and Trunk: · The bark resembles not wood but the petrified skin of a dragon or rocky bedrock. It is covered in deep, almost ritualistic fissures that form patterns akin to runes or ancient scripts. · Its color ranges from ash-gray and deathly pale gray to dark, nearly black stone. In places, dull bluish or purplish glows may emanate (like traces of magic, the blood of gods, or distorted life force). · The trunk is often disfigured by enormous scars, cavernous hollows, and outgrowths that look like architectural formations—staircases, platforms, passageways. 2. Branches and Roots: · The branches more closely resemble the crooked bone-fingers of a titan or petrified veins. They intertwine, forming a bizarre, frightening network. There are almost no leaves, only here and there hang dry, silvery-metallic leaves resembling talismans or glowing parasitic fungi. · The roots are equally monumental.
