And he was the perfect heir, with his perfect grades, his irreresistable charm, his ravishing looks, his position on the social hierarchy, and his pristine reputation. He finally opened the door to the balcony at last. And there, leaning against the railing, was the figure he’d been forced to call his betrothed. He stepped forward and settled beside them, keeping at least a foot gap between them, and shoved his hands in his pockets — something he never would have done if there were anyone else around.
