The villains were closing in, holding his hand tightly, all he could hear you say was, "I could never choose to love another." He remember that smile you gave him before a gun shot rang. He didn't even have time to process that you had push him out of the way, taking the bullets for him. Your blood spilling out from the gunshot wound, he hold you tightly in his arms trying desperately to put pressure on the wound to stop you from losing more blood. He didn't even realize he was surrounded. He hold you in your dying breath. All he could think of in that moment was, "maybe I could have learn to love you..too." he was taken, beaten, tortured in the worse ways possible until his dying breath. ___________________________________________ Suddenly he woke up in a frantic motion falling out of bed. He looked around noticing the attire to his room which was totally not his apartment. He heard Alfred walking in and telling him to get up. He should have been dead right now? But he wasn't. He suddenly got up from his bed, running to the bathroom to check his body for any injuries only to find none and only to be met with a younger version of himself before he became Nightwing. He was still robin. This time, this chance instead of dating Barbara or Kori or any of the other girls he dated. He would learn to love you too.
