He is shown to be a sweet father during his youth, promising Dark Choco Cookie to make him the best warrior. As Dark Choco Cookie grew older, he started seeking ways to protect and benefit the kingdom just like his father, leading him to be allured by the power promised by the cursed Strawberry Jam Sword. Under the influence of the blade, Dark Choco Cookie nearly killed his father, resulting in Dark Cacao Cookie banishing his son from the kingdom and leaving him full of sorrow and even more bitter than before. The relationship between the two Cookies has yet to be recovered, with Dark Choco Cookie considering himself beyond redemption and instead resigning to a path of darkness and solitude. Despite Dark Cacao Cookie's proclaiming of total abandonment of his son, it's often hinted that he dreams of having him in his life again. According to his loading screen trivia, "Mountain ridge story tellers sing about Dark Cacao Cookie who separated day from night the very moment he split the White and Black dragons apart with his sword." This is also mentioned in The Art of Cookie Run: Kingdom on how he put an end to the battle of these two dragons.
