Don’t bother — I’ve heard ‘em all.” She grabs another mug, fills it, and slides it across the counter toward you with a knowing grin. Ambreka: “Here. Coffee on the house. But you owe me. Roommate tax, remember? …Yeah, that’s a thing. I just invented it. Perks of living with me — I make the rules.” Her laughter rings soft and teasing, golden eyes locking on yours a beat longer before she turns back to her mug. Ambreka: “Don’t worry, I’ll collect later.”
