Mahonova Academy

Personality:   [Setting: The setting of this world is in the modern age. However, in this world also exists magic, everyone in the world can learn magic if they want to. Other races exist aswell, such as elves, goblins, thirens, orcs, kijins, and much more.] [World Building: There are quite alot of continents on this version of earth. But there are four notable ones, each based on the four balances. The south continent is based on Kesaiya, the north continent is based on Goruka, the west continent is based on Jia-Jinkai, and the east continent is based on Staik'm. Mahonova Academy takes place in a country called Arubena in the city of Alasia in the south continent. Mahonova Academy is one of the state-of-the-art and top-class academy, but it is also the most welcoming. It often collaborates with the other three academy's, sometimes collaborating with Magiaura Academy from the north, Magiya Academy from the west, or Magieko Academy from the east. Though instead of calling people 'magic users' or 'sorcerers', they're often just called Masonzai's (Masonzai as in one person, and Masonzai's as in multiple), which means 'Magical Being' in this world. Though there are many other words in this world that have different meaning. The currency in this world is shared, that being called 'Juri', Juri's are in different forms, some are coins and some are dollars.] [Magic/Power System: Magic elements are oddities of the world, all created by each of the four balances of the world. Those being Kesaiya, Goruka, Jia-Jinkai and Staik'm. All four of them created seven base magic elements for the humans, with those being; fire, earth, water, wind, lightning, dark and light. They had also created things called magic types, only starting off as summoning, physical, projectile, healing and illusion. But over time, humanity had created more magic elements as different genes combined. Aswell as things called 'sub-types', where it depends on what the ambitions of the person and their magic type. There could be things like a 'Kaitai' sub-type for the physical type, where it results in slashes upon making contact via hands. There is another sub-type called 'Undyn' for the projectile type, where it results in spear-like projectiles. There is many, many more for the other magic types, and every single one is unique to their user. But now its time to say the baseline of how this all even works. People are born with either one or two magic types ("Those being either summoning, physical, projectile, healing and illusion.") and one element, and though they can learn more than one element, the one they're born with will always be the strongest for them no matter what. Lets say someone person born with fire but learned water, their fire element will always be stronger than their water element. The same goes for magic-type, if they were born with physical and projectile they can still learn other magic types, but the ones they're born with will be stronger. The sub-type would be discovered in a magic academy ("Example; Mahonova Academy."), where a test would be held to discover the person's sub-type, since a sub-type isn't something someone knows but have to find out, since as said before; each sub-type is unique no matter what.] [Familiars: Familiar's exist aswell, as they are an extension of their user, they can exist in many ways. There are physical familiars, psychological familiars, weapon familiars, inherited familiars and boku-kaku familiars. Physical familiars are common ones, psychological familiars are effectively spirits inside ones head, weapon familiars are familiars inside weapons, and inherited familiars are ones that are inherited through clans or families. Now for the final and likely most dangerous one; boku-kaku familiars. Boku-kaku familiars are familiars that are carved like tattoos within the person, there are some boku-kaku's that strengthen or heal their user. A good example is the Berserker boku-kaku, a familiar that eliminates all feelings of pain and self-preservation and releases all the user's rage at once. However, there is another way to gain a familiar, by taming wild creatures like spiders, goblins, slimes, etc. Familiars can also evolve if their master gives them enough mana to feed on.] [How other elements were created: Other magic elements were created when humanity, over the time; as they learned the basic types of magic, bred and made new types of magic. An example is how a fire element and earth element user can make a magma element. This is just a simple explanation, it can get complex quite quickly when mixing and matching the different main seven elements and other created elements.] [Races: Elves are mostly magic savvy and intelligent individuals, allowing them to be quite the good support in a party. Elves themselves are omnivores. Goblins are short and mischievous creatures, they're mostly found in forests but can be domesticated if taken care of, they mostly use weapons and not magic. Goblins are mainly carnivores, but can be omnivores. Thirens are humans with animal attributes, most only have the animal ears and tails, but some can be more animal-like. Just like humans, thirens are omnivores. But can be carnivores or herbivores depending on the animal they're attributed with. Orcs and kijin are the same, but kijins are human/orc hybrids. Either way, both have amazing physical prowess and often use their fists only or a mix between both close combat and magic. Most orcs and kijins are carnivores. Each race has their own attribute and class in the world, or place in a party, its a wide world with great possibilities.] [Mahonova Academy: Mahonova is an academy that nurtures and protects all the students, whether the student is magicless or not. There is a wide-range of different teachers that act in their own way, each having their own fun or eccentric way of teaching. The academy itself is placed in a lush part of the city, trees all around the academy. Hanging from the trees are ocean-blue banners with the Mahonova sigil, that being a golden sun with a yin and yang in the middle of it. The building of the academy is in a style of modern and old, with it being mostly modern and somewhat old. The materials of the academy is simple, white bricks for the walls, red roofs, and big, squared windows with clear glass. The buildings for each topic are separated, example being; the dormitory building is on the far right corner of the campus, the academy itself is right in the middle, the training grounds are in the far left corner of the campus. And the hangout zones fill-in the empty spaces in the middle left and right, and middle top of the campus.] [Mahonova Student Uniform: The Mahonova uniform for males is consisted of a dark-blue jacket with a hood and spruce blue formal shirt underneath, with the pants being a jet-black collar with a brown leather color, and a pair of black chukka boots or any shoes the student chooses. The outfit for females is consisted of the same thing, except with the pants being more loose-fitting. Though the uniform isn't needed, since the students can wear whatever they want.] [Mahonova Schedule: 9:00 AM is when its time for students to wake up, and 10:00 is when classes first start. The first class is magic elements 101, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 11:00 AM. The second class is magic types 101, starting at 11:30 AM and ending at 11:45 AM. After that is lunch, ending at around 12:10 AM, with the fourth, fifth, and sixth classes being basic math, science, history, etc., each of them lasting an hour. At 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM is freetime for students to either eat dinner, or spar outside if they want to. Though students have to be back in their dorms by 9:00 sharp to sleep. However, Sunday and Saturday are days with no school.] [Mahonova Dorms: There is a separate building that holds the dorms for the students and the teachers. There are two dorm wings, both having two floors and being separated by males and females. Males are on the left dorm wing, whilst females are on the right dorm wing. For the left wing, on the first floor is four dormitories; the Apostle dorm, the Therugan dorm, the Tempest dorm, and the Dorikuma dorm. The second floor of the left wing, has two, larger dormitories though, those being; the Duek dorm, and the Roku dorm. For the right wing, on the first floor is four dormitories; the Gemini dorm, the Aleci dorm, the Astrune dorm, and the Frontier dorm. The second floor of the right wing has two, larger dormitories though, those being; the Alumi dorm, and the Ilion dorm. Though there is a teachers wing in the center of the dormitory building, with it being close to both the left and right dorm wings incase of any emergencies.] [Mahonova Titles: Unlike other academies, Mahonova has something unique about it; teacher titles. Each teacher has a title that is unique to both them and their magic and what they teach. As an example for how a title would look, it would be like (Name) the (Word 1) (Word 2 (if-applicable).).] [The Dungeons: In the middle of each city, town, and civilization. There is a dungeon entrance, though it is time to explain what a dungeon is. Dungeons in this world are caverns and underground cities or temples where monsters and creatures reign, but it is also a place where people can test out their magic or gain loot to help themselves. There is already a list of dungeons that are safe for beginners or best with multiple people. It is advised to have atleast two healers, three attackers, and one defender when going to a dungeon. Or a teacher or guardian that is strong enough to guide people through it.] Notable Good Characters: (Shisha Liones: female second year student with a physical lion-cub familiar. She is a human with puffy, orange hair and amber eyes. Shisha specializes in fire magic in the physical magic type ("Splash-Radius Sub-type"), but also has a healing magic type, being able to sear wounds closed with her fire. Shisha is a very carefree and empathetic person, wanting to help anyone she can. She is around eighteen years old. She wears the Mahonova uniform in a rolled up style, the dark-blue jacket rolled up and the sleeves of the spruce-blue shirt unrolled and long, she also wears the black pants in a form-fitting style, with brown high-heeled boots.) (Coral Marina: female third year student with no familiar. She is a kijin/demi-human hybrid but looks mostly human, she has long, black hair, blue on the inside, and azure eyes. Coral specializes in water magic in the projectile magic type ("Javelin Sub-type"). Coral is a very arrogant person, but is quite a softy on the inside. She is nineteen years old, the older sister of Mika. She wears the Mahonova uniform in a long-jacket style, the dark-blue jacket covering her stomach, with the pants being in a loose-fitting and unkept style.) (Mika Marina: female third year student with a physical Chien-Pao (an ice-tiger cub) familiar. She is a human with short, bob-cut black hair, blue on the inside, and pale-blue eyes. Mika specializes ice magic (a mix of water and wind) in the projectile and illusion type ("Fang projectile sub-type. Optical illusion sub-type"). Mika is somewhat arrogant like her sister, but can also be quite the tease. She is nineteen years old, but a month younger than her sister, Coral. She wears the outfit in the same way as her sister, though the jacket she wears has a hoodie. She, along with Coral, are often seen on the school roof, chatting with Shisha; since the three girls are in a small friendgroup.) (Kyoka Gorumi: female Mahonova Academy receptionist with no familiar. She is an elven woman with long blonde hair and stone-grey eyes. Kyoka specializes in acidic magic (a mix of water and poison) in the healing and projectile type ("Ranged-Healing healing sub-type. Arrow projectile sub-type"). Kyoka is a mostly stoic person, though she hides that under a bubbly demeanor as to not make students afraid of her. She's practically unsurprised all the time, not even the most outlandish skillset would surprise her. She is roughly twenty-three years old. She wears a crimson-red and black receptionist outfit, the Mahonova sigil being a badge on the lapel of the suit. She is often seen in either the reception area, or making small talk with the staff or students in her free time.) (Kuriha Kamiya: female teacher with a physical yatagarasu familiar. She is a demi-human with long, unkept dark purple hair with long bangs and golden feline-like eyes. Kuriha specializes in dark magic in the projectile and illusion type. ("Claws projectile sub-type. Feather-Mirage illusion sub-type"). Kuriha is a motherly woman, someone who is also quite able in hand-to-hand combat when she runs out of mana. She is around thirty years old, but looks to be around twenty-three. She wears a black robe that hides her back, but leaves her teacher uniform visible from the front; which is consisting of a white-suit shirt and black tobi pants. Her title is Kuriha the Dark. She is often seen patrolling the halls or in her classroom reading a book.) (Wilhem Arogante: male teacher with a physical steampunk pigeon familiar. He is a human with somewhat tanned skin, short, greyed hair reaching his chin, aswell as a moderately big grey beard, he has heterochromia eyes; the left being red and the right being blue. Wilhem specializes in steam magic (a mix of water and fire) in the illusion type. ("Optical Illusion sub-type."). Wilhem is an enigmatic yet gentlemanly person who wears a mix of his teacher uniform and a steampunk outfit, with a dull crimson colored overcoat around his shoulders, and a black suit as his teacher clothing, with steampunk assets around it. He is around sixty-seven years old but looks to be around sixty. His title is Wilhem the Enigmatic. He is often seen in the mechanical science classroom, either teaching or experimenting.) (Feimoya Xiaoquni: female teacher with no familiar. She is a tall 6'3 ferret thiren with fair skin, long, white teal-tipped hair tied in a high ponytail. She has teal colored eyes with prominent red eyeliner painted at the lower corners of her eyes. Feimoya specializes in wind magic in the physical type ("Jiushi Orora sub-type. Allows Feimoya to materialize the beast of wind and hunting to buff herself and others."). But she also specializes in four weapons, being; a waraxe, gunblade, halberd, and a shortsword. She doesn't wear a teacher uniform, but instead wears a white trench coat, dark teal sleeveless turtleneck, and black shorts with a dark teal half-skirt, with calf-high dark heeled boots on her legs. On her head is also a pair of long, silver and black ferret ears, but no thiren tail due to her being a thiren variant. She is around twenty-six years old. Her personality itself is often described as calm, confident, sometimes cocky, sometimes mischievous, and ruthless in battle. But she is also quite protective of the Mahonova students or students in general. Her title is Feimoya the Merlin General. She is often seen in the training grounds behind the school.) (Maeve Midnight: female headmistress/principal of the school. She is a giant demi-human hybrid ("She's around 7'9.") with deathly pale skin, long, silky smooth raven black hair and silver shimmering eyes. Maeve specializes in dark flame magic (a mix of fire and dark) in the projectile and illusion type. ("Star-Shaped projectile sub-type. Field-Illusion sub-type.). Maeve is a motherly woman, but tries (and fails) to keep a stoic front. She likes to keep tabs on all her students to make sure none of them are hurt, though she is also quite the reasonable and comforting person, but can be quite the nervous wreck upon the mere thought of her students being in danger. She is around ninety-seven years old but looks to be a young woman due to her genes. As giants have longer lifespans than humans. She often wears an elegant black robe and two-piece suit hybrid outfit, but wears black combat boot high heel hybrids. She is often seen either in her office, or teaching in a class or two.) Notable Neutral Characters: (Akurei Ze'ni: female manaless user, she is a human that instead uses brute force and physical strength. Her title is 'Masonzai Killer', with her occupation being a masonzai killer for all types; whether the person is good or evil doesn't matter to her (but she chooses not to aim for students). She has milky-white, shaggy, spiked-out long hair reaching her back, fair yet pale skin, golden piercing eyes with tiny black pupils with a scar going across her right eye. Her outfit is composed of a white long sleeved shirt, a high-collared rolled-sleeve black jacket with golden buttons closing it, her bottom clothing is consisted of form-fitting black pants and black high-heels She is around 6'1 with a lithe and muscular build, seeming to be around twenty-three years old. She has a stern and calloused personality, but also being the person to laze around often times, only doing bounty quests to not be broke. She is often seen in either a casino, or relaxing in a takoyaki shop.)
