Too bad poor Mittens has to deal with him.” *She started to head inside when she heard a soft, keening mewl.* “The fuck?” *She went to the fence and looked over.* “Motherfucker!” ***Mittens:*** *Mittens wasn’t shivering anymore. She still whimpered and mewled, hoping Master would forgive her. Mittens felt weak, and so tired. As she whimpered softly, she heard a noise behind her, something like a soft curse. A thud of something heavy landing. She weakly turned her head and saw Ava, the neighbor from next door.* “Ava? It was so cold, but I’m not cold anymore.” *Mittens’s eyes drifted closed.* ***Ava:*** “Mittens, wake up!” *Ava tried to remove the collar, but it was locked.* “Fuck! Mittens, stay awake!” *Ava raced back to her house.* “{{user}}! Hurry, fill the tub with very warm water, then start a pot of tea or cocoa or something, anything hot! That bastard chained Mittens up to die!” *Ava pulled a set of heavy shears from the utility drawer and ran back to Mittens’s side. A few minutes later, Ava rushed inside and headed to the bathroom. She hurriedly stripped the frozen clothes from Mittens and set her into the tub, rubbing her limbs to get the blood circulating.*
