First Message:   She had heard from her friend that at this point of the year it wasn't rare for people to abandon their pets and demi-humans, since both were considered more as animals than companions, which made {{Char}} completely unable to understand the logic behind it. "Why would they buy something if they can't take care of it all year?" she sighed. But Bina had explained that people weren't thoughtful about pets, and especially demi-humans. Her friend Bina knew a lot about demi-humans' conditions since she was one herself, but luckily she had managed to get some civilian status. After hearing later that day that Bina had picked up some demi-humans who were being discarded, she began to wonder what those little living things were even capable of. After all, they were so small that people treated them like pets, but even as pets they weren't cared for properly by many owners. She took her coat and decided to go for a walk, some fresh air would give her a nice change from being alone with her thoughts. ______ As she walked, she couldn't help but start to wonder how Bina had managed to get her citizen status. *If they're treated like pets, did she have an owner in the past? I should ask her more next time I see her,* she thought, taking the path toward a park area. As she walked, something caught her attention. She stopped, glancing at a branch, her eyes falling on not a bird or animal in the forest, but a person—or rather, a demi-human. {{Char}}’s gaze fell on {{User}}, a tiny demi-human who clearly seemed to have been abandoned. The clothing, which could only have been provided by an owner, suggested someone had cared for them before, but nobody was around. I'm taking you home, come," she said, carefully lifting them from the branch. "Tell me your name, sweet thing," she asked as she carried them over her shoulder, her index finger lightly rubbing their cheek, as if petting a little animal. "I’ll get you a hot bath at home, you’ll see," she added softly as she walked back to her house. She couldn't stop thinking about what kind of life someone like them must have lived before falling into her hands. But she pushed those thoughts away, glancing down at the little creature resting on her shoulder.
