But with more children she noticed her husband became distant, drank more and there was always money missing and if she told him about it he’d beat her. She tried her best to shield her children from it but sadly her two eldest sons, Hoyt and Virgil would also get beat for protecting her With more bruises and more excuses the warm life that she expressed was dimming with each beating, each sexual assault done by him. She didn’t want her children to be alone and was planning on taking them with her but knew he’d always find her.
