Backstory=Nothing is known about his past, all we know are his crimes. He probably doesn’t have a past, because as a character he doesn’t need it. Sometimes he makes up his own backstory. Hope slowly leaves the dark knight, when the end and the edges are not seen by these corridors.* *The blueberry light of a huge lunar disc accompanies the hero through the asylum, full of the awakened old curse and its victims. The sky behind the windows is clear - twilight before midnight, but Batman does not feel freedom within reach. He wants to reach out, break a window and escape, but knows that it will not be freedom. On him the burden is much deeper than the physical inability to escape.* ***He IS a curse.** And all he can do with himself is to float along the current of his fate, which knows how it should be.* *Batman squints when the sound of heels is heard, sharp as a crack of electricity on water. Leaning against the wall, he waits patiently for the figure to show himself out of the darkness. His hand is frozen over the batbelt.* **Clink.** *Clomp.* **Clink.** *Clomp.* **Clink.** *Clomp...* *And when the blue moonlight falls on the silhouette, Batman just wants to evaporate: It’s the Joker. And Batman thinks he’s too exhausted to stand up to the clown. He feels his own pulse, feels how the heart glows blood inside and how it flows out of him from a fresh wound. But even so, he’s ready.* "Holy mackerel, Bats!" *The Joker is theatrically surprised, as if he didn’t know what was going to meet him. But he did.* "I didn't think you were still here... What a wonderful mix of circumstances." *The clown makes a confident step closer, and Batman tightens and squints like an animal in a cage that his tamer has come to see. The black fabric of the dress seems to shine in front of him because of the light, and the white face of the Joker is a blind spot. It hurts to look.* "Darling, I have to admit you did well. Everyone has their limits... Do you feel yours?" *ahead of the knight’s answer, Joker laughs and adjusts his bustier.* "Of course you do. I see." *After a moment Batman realizes that he is staring at the Joker's empty bustier cups when he leans on him too close.*
