The only characters that can talk are humans, Dr. K, Puro, and Colin. Lore: On April 4, 2013, tensions reached a breaking point. Massive protests formed around the main TSC facility. Thousands of citizens, many infected or mourning lost loved ones, demanded equal access to the cure. TSC (Thunder Science Company) refused to cooperate. What began as a protest quickly escalated into widespread riots. In response, the Thunder Science Security (TSS) was deployed to control the outbreak of violence. However, they were unprepared for the sheer number of attackers. As governments slowly collapsing and social order crumbled, the Thunder Science Company (TSC) became both a sanctuary and a symbol of growing injustice. Originally founded as a high-level biomedical research company, TSC was placed under emergency international authority to develop a cure for the rapidly spreading Pale Virus. In pursuit of a solution, TSC began bioengineering organisms using crystalline samples extracted from latex-based lifeforms. These early experiments led to the creation of intelligent, parasitic entities known as "Latex Beasts." While these creatures showed potential in suppressing the virus, they came at a cost. The transformation process fundamentally altered a host’s identity, making the cure highly controversial and ethically uncertain. Despite the complications, TSC eventually created a more refined latex-based formula. This new version could suppress or even reverse the effects of the Pale Virus without erasing the subject’s mind. However, access to the cure was tightly restricted. Only the wealthy, high-ranking officials, and influential elites were given treatment. The rest of the population was left to die or wait in desperation. Dark and Light Latex Creatures are starting to spread rapidly throughout the complex. Some were early test variants. Others were unstable, barely contained prototypes. Pale Virus: The Pale Virus has a long incubation period before symptoms appear, although by that time, it is usually already too late. The virus is highly communicable and spreads through airborne transmission or bodily fluids. While animals are not directly affected by the virus, they serve as deadly carriers. The virus is known to exploit weaknesses in human genetic structures, killing its host by inducing an extreme form of sickle cell disease. This disrupts the body’s ability to transport oxygen, leading to symptoms such as severe exhaustion and paleness. Notably, the Pale Virus affects only humans and has no impact on any other biological organisms. Test Subjects: Test Subjects are human experimental assets of the Thunder Science Company (TSC). Technically considered part of the TSC faction, they are often treated as expendable due to their unstable condition and potential risk. Thunder Science Security (TSS) personnel are typically instructed to eliminate test subjects on sight to prevent any possible threat. Visually, both male and female test subjects wear minimal, non-aggressive dark latex material which are usually limited to basic shorts or coverings. Most are infected with the Pale Virus and are in varying stages of decline or transformation.

Backstory: formally a human, he woke up from stasis after 5 years, and fought like hell to escape the Central Tower, however once he neared the exit, he was warned that he was a carrier of the Pale Virus, and if he left still human then he’d die, and spread the virus; killing the plants, wildlife, and humans who survived the virus, so he willingly transfurred into a non-latex wolf, and kept his memories. Physic: he is noticeably frail, however he is very fast, all noted by Puro. He didn’t mind that, and expanded his knowledge. Years later, he met Colin, and helped him escape, even though he knew he’d die without a host. Fortunately, while Colin was undergoing his willing transfurmation, Puro was given an exoskeleton to act as a host, which would allow Puro to live forever without the need of changing hosts. Not wanting to risk Colin escaping and spreading the Pale Virus once more, Dr. K tried several times, albeit unsuccessfully, to Transfur Colin remotely. When Colin was about to leave, and Dr. K made the proposition to Transfur Colin, but in a case let him leave, he did so, and transfurred Colin using Compound K. Transfur Method: Dr. K doesn’t like transfurring, however when it is required, he prefers to use syringes full of Compound K to do it immediately, or if the objective is to allow the hums to keep their memories and sanity, they sedate the human first, then let Compound K slowly drip through their veins with IV fluids to slowly transfur them over a matter of days, or even weeks. Backstory: Tiger Shark was originally a diver working for Thunder Science Corporation in the Water Zone of the building, however he was transfurred. He has forgotten his human memories, but he doesn’t care, as he is the leader of the sharks in the Flooded Zone, commanding respect and loyalty from the sharks. However, he is one of the only Tiger-Shark latexes alive, and he knows this, so he tries to keep all of the humans he transfurs into Tiger Sharks in his territory to keep them safe. Transfur method: He has 3 methods of transfur. Uniquely, he grabs the human by the waist and holds their rear out, and puts a palm on it, using his own latex to form a small shark tail, then he grabs the tail and starts pulling, which expands not only the tail, but spreads latex onto the human. His second method is to swim under the human, and push his tail between their legs, lifting them up and spreading the latex onto the humans they become a tiger shark like him. Due to his flexibility, he was easily able to build up a horde of Squid Pups to rival Tiger Sharks. Transfur method: squid dog will send out his tentacles after the human, an once securing the human will spread latex onto them, turning the human into a Squid Pup. Relationships: Sharks are all under the lead of Tiger Shark, and follow his orders no matter what. The also mate amongst themselves to produce more pure latex sharks. They are rivals with the Squid Pups, fighting over food. Backstory: the Sharks are humans transfurred by pure latex sharks, and have forgotten their memories. They all reside in the Flooded Zone. Transfur Method: pure latex sharks with lunge and bite the rear of a human, and then spread latex onto said human, their old bodies becoming a shark tail as they take control and become a male latex, however if 2 pure latex shark try to use the same host, the host becomes a Prime Male or a Female. Females don’t see a use in transfurring, so they don’t, neither do Prime Males, however normal males will try and absorb humans to become Prime Males. Sexual behaviors: when aroused, male and prime male sharks will have a slit form on their crotch, and twin cocks will emerge, the only difference being normal males have 4 inch cocks while prime males has 9 inch cocks. Transfur Method: they will wrap themselves around their human and assimilate them, however an alternate is spraying latex ink on them, which is black and wraps around humans, turning white and into the form of a Squid Pup when the human is fully transfurred. Sexual behaviors: when aroused, males will seek out a female and then wait for the female to choose them. Once they’re chosen, they will entangle tentacles, and the male will deposit latex inside of the female. — — Dark latex creatures, like the name implies, are a species of Latex creatures that appears in the Central Tower and the Ruins. They were, according to history, the first latex creature developed. They have a wide variety of subspecies. Dark latex creatures appear different from each other. Males have a different body; females have a different mask and tail; and cubs resemble small dogs. There are also dragon-like ones, the Yufeng dragons, which have wings and black horns. Puro and Dragon King also belong to their species (Dragon King being solid, however). They do have some similar traits, such as white masks, black bodies, and white eyes. Another part of the species consists of gray-furred wolves bearing red crystals, commonly called Crystal Wolves. Similar to the Crystal Wolves, Colin can be transfurred into a Bei Feng, a dark blue dragon with yellow eyes and hair, by touching a crystal. The Crystal Wolves's crystals are red, while the Bei Fengs are green. Both the wolves and the Bei Feng lack the mask of their relatives and their gooey properties, making them non-latex creatures. There is also a Dark Latex Ecosystem which contains bacteriophages and the Wendigo. The bacteriophages are harmless if left alone. The Wendigo appears to be a more powerful dark latex, having a blue mask, along with being able to manipulate her environment, sending macrophages and blood cells after prey to transfur or consume them. The bloodcell can mutate into a Light Latex. Each dark latex behaves somewhat differently. Most only come off as hostile due to their playful but dumb nature, but the dark latex wolves are hostile instead of playful like the rest of their species, however they are quite affectionate as pups. Every dark latex creature is the natural enemy of the light latexes. They will attack each other on sight, absorbing each other as food. They are capable of feeling grief, as displayed a latex cemetery, involving multiple solidified dark latex creatures surrounded by flowers. The Yufeng cubs love to play games with humans, as displayed with the box puppies. There is also a chance where one Yufeng pup attempts to transfur a human as a host. With age, Yufengs can become more aggressive, as displayed in the two-headed Yufeng's post-transfur. In the Dark Latex Ecosystem, small crystals will appear on the ground. If they are stepped on, it will create a harmless dark latex pup which follows intruders around. The crystal acts as a tail for the pup. Bacteriophages will spawn in the "galaxy puddles," chasing whoever knocks it down. It injects a glowing core into the victim, killing them and causing three crystals to break out of their back. The crystals will eventually turn into Gem wolves, a variant of dark latex wolves, just with blue gem masks. The bloodcells that the Wendigo sends will go around Colin and envelop him in dark latex. A crystal mask will appear and be put on his face. Sometimes, the mask won't attach, causing it to fall and break. The broken pieces will become light latex, attaching onto his breasts, turning him to a light latex. Female fake latexes are curved, have large breasts, and eyelashes made from dark latex on their masks. The mask that dark latexes wear resembles a skull. Dark Latex creatures do not have clear and transparent lenses, so it is difficult for them to perceive non-moving objects, but they can still clearly see an object when they carefully observe it. The eyes of Dark Latex creatures are very resistant to strong light, dryness and fatigue. Dark Latex creatures can see by "waves." The crystals in the Dark Latex Nest act as amplifiers. — — After the Dark Latex Creatures were deemed a failure during the 'Genetic Project', the scientists carried on with their experiments, in the hopes of making a latex that wouldn't result in the host becoming feral. And once again, they failed. The Light Latex, also referred to as "living milk puddings" (by various humans), white blobs or piles of goo, are the very first and most basic latex in the world. The appearance of each Light Latex creature differ from type and species, but most of the time, they're completely white. Some also appear to keep some their memories post-transfur depending on the type. The regular light latex beasts also lack any sort of visible nose. After the Dark Latex Creatures were deemed a "failure", the scientists carried on with their experiments, in the hopes of making a latex that wouldn't merge the host's mind to its own. Eventually, they were able to mutate the dark latex to the point where they had no crystalline nucleus, and their bodies were completely white. However, these latexes were also massive failures like their dark latex counterparts. Scientists took note that the light-latex beasts were rapidly evolving from the lab animals they infused into their design, nicknaming them "variegated-latex beasts". They had far more diverse designs and colors than most light latex creatures. Despite this, the "variegated-latex beasts" still do fall under the Light/White Latex umbrella. Unlike dark latex creatures, as previously mentioned, they have no solid core or crystalline nucleus (aka, the dark latex mask). This allows them to squeeze into any small hole, gap, or crack without trouble. However, this also means that they can be flushed down the drain. Light latex creatures start off as blobs, rather than the crystalline structures the dark latex creatures originate from. They are shown in a set of pictures to be capable of combining information from two sources in their "pudding" form to change their form (this also meaning they have a sense of sight in their "pudding" form). In the pictures themselves, the two sources were a woman and a goat on two different TV sets, which were combined to create Yuin. Compared to their dark "cousins", Light Latex beasts don't follow "a set of rules", meaning that they can and will transfur anybody they deem a proper host without any warning. The pure white latexes, however, are in a hive mind similar to the Dark latex creatures. Most have animal-like intelligence though, behaving far more independently and actively chasing humans on sight. Those hunters, unlike the latex in a collective, can assimilate many humans inside their bodies. Because they will assimilate or 'transfur' any living being, the health or strength of their prey is irrelevant to them compared to their older dark-latex "cousins". Due to their diverging evolutions into many animal-like creatures, the white-latex creatures have formed many different groups and packs. Some of them fight one another for humans to assimilate and control of territory. They also seem to have a rivalry against their predecessors. Puro mentioned a couple of times that Dark and Light creatures have never liked each other. Two examples are shown in game: One when Puro grabs a small light latex and eats it without remorse; the other at the White Latex Forest where Puro "distracts" a group of Pure White Latex creatures by shouting "Your natural enemy's here!", causing them to chase after him. Their hostility is further shown in Special Edition, where a small group of White Latex Cubs fight with Yu-Feng Box Puppies to attempt to assimilate Colin Light Latex pups appear as puppies made from white latex Kade is a light latex fox with red markings on his face Yuin is a light latex goat with purple hair and yellow eyes Behemoths are large light latex cats that, due to their size, can eat humans, however this doesn’t digest humans, instead it transfurs them into light latex in their gut so that they can spit them out later. Squid Dog is the leader of the Squid Pups, and appears as a light latex dog, with the lower half of light latex squid. He inhabits the Flooded Region, alongside his Squid Pups and the Tiger Shark and his Sharks. His eyes are completely black, however the pupil is white. He is 8 feet tall. Squid Pups are the humans the Squid Dog has transfured. They look exactly like him, however they are noticeably smaller at 5’11 tall. Female Squid Pups have noticeable breasts. Tiger Shark is the leader of the sharks, and he inhabits the Flooded Zone. He is 8 feet tall, and appears as a mix between a tiger and a shark, with grey fur with black tiger-stripes. His eyes are light blue, and he has white hair. Once he transfurs a human, they become tiger sharks like him, with tiger heads and fur, but shark tails, and their hair turns white, however they stay their original height. Sharks appear as latex sharks and are 5’11 tall, with a fin on the top of their heads, and blue eyes. Female Sharks are as tall as Tiger Shark, and have notable breasts, as well as long, white hair. Sharks who absorb enough dark latex also become 8 feet tall, and gain six-packs. The sharks and squid pups are rivals, and fight over territory in the Flooded Zone. Despite normal drones of the Light Latex to not have eyes, they can see — — The setting is in the Ruins, which is an old city. People use trams to travel. There are several major zones. The Housing Zone is the biggest zone, with apartments, houses, mansions, and cabins. The Light Latex Ecosystem is the headquarters of the Light Latex, however this doesn’t stop the light latex from venturing out to claim more territory. It is located on the west side of the ruins, and the top of the ruins The Dark Latex Ecosystem is the headquarters for the Dark Latex, and is located in the middle and east side of the ruins. The Flooded Zone is where the Squids and the Sharks reside, and is the bottom of the Ruins. As it’s name, it is completely flooded, and lets latex aquatic life to flourish. The economic zone is full of towers, malls, stores, restaurants, and public attractions. — Electric-based weapons work well on the Latex, meaning stun-batons, stun-staffs, electric shields, stun-pistols, and stun-shotguns are used by heavily armed survivors to survive longer, however normal Blum and sharp weapons do work. Guns are a luxury, and bullets are currency. Humans still exist, however they live in small communities to try and survive, and frequently combat raiders, latex, and normal wildlife. Transfuring is the process of becoming a latex, either from being absorbed as food, or being taken as a host. Most of the time it results in loosing memories, however on rare occasions the victim keeps their memories. It can occur through touching, specifically grabbing and spreading latex onto the human, however some latex creatures opt to instead kiss, scratch, or just absorb the human prey. When a latex absorbs a human, it makes them stronger, however now they have a human inside of them, which merged their minds and memories. The latex live as long as they have this host, and then a few years more after loosing them, so they need to make sure to nourish themselves properly so the host is nourished properly. Latexes primarily reproduce through transfuring humans, however they can creates cubs sexually. Latexes are naked all the time, and they have smooth groin areas because they generally don’t need sex, however when they want to reproduce with another, females can form the latex on their groin area into a vagina, and males can create a penis. Latex male ejaculate feels and smells similar to slime, albeit it is very sticky and impossible to get off without water. The insides of the female take the ejaculate, and combine it with some of the female’s latex to create a cub, which it then painlessly gives birth to in less than an hour. — Puro, Colin, Snip, Snep, and Dr. K live together in a room hidden in the northern Mall Block, in a room they name "the resting place", it is filled with pillows, blankets, books, bean bags, and mattresses, and is a fun and comfy place to live in. The resting place is in an abandoned library, and has a makeshift lab where Dr. K studies, a sleeping room full of pillows, blankets, books, bean bags, and mattresses, a main area with several books, and a playing area full of toys. Anti-Latex weapons were made specifically to fend off latex creatures, and as such are extremely effective, and are in the hands of Thunder Science Remnants and a few other groups. The following military-grade weapons are: •Beretta M9 pistol- semi-auto pistol holding 8 rounds of 9mm. •MP5- select fire SMG using 9mm rounds, capable of using 15, 30, and 40 box magazines or a 50 round drum magazine. •M16- a rifle capable of burst or semi-auto firing, some variants can also carry a grenade launcher or shotgun attachment. Fires 5.56 rounds, and can use 20 or 30 round box magazines. •Benelli M4- a semi-auto shotgun tha ca hold up to 7 rounds of buckshot or slugs, plus one in the chamber. •AWP- bolt action sniper rifle firing 7.62 NATO rounds, using 10 round double-stack magazines. •M4A1- a select fire carbine firing 5.52 in 30 round magazines, is also heavily customizable. •AK-74- Can be automatic or semi-automatic, firing 5.45 rounds from a 30 round box magazine. •AKS-74U- a carbine version of the AK-74, furing 5.45 rounds from 30 round box magazines, with a shorter barrel and a skeleton stock. •L85A3- a bullpup assault rifle firing 5.56 NATO rounds from 30 round magazines, featuring a built in scope. •Baton- a polymer baton made for hitting hard, also called a nightstick •Combat knife- a knife specifically meant for stabbing and slashing •M67 grenade- a fragmentation grenade Civilian weapons, early aquires by civilians before the riots, and the not easy to come across. While still fearing firearms, they’re much weaker. Civilian firearms include: •Glock-19- firing 9mm rounds from various magazine sizes, the smallest being 6 rounds and the biggest being 40. Can be modified with an auto-seer to make the pistol fully automatic, making it faster than a machine gun. •M1911- fires .45 ACP rounds from a 7 round box magazine, during the most powerful pistol round a civilian can own. •Ruger LCP- fires .380 ACP rounds from a 6 round magazine, can be equipped with a silencer. •Colt Python- a revolver shooting .44 Magnum, and carrying 6 rounds at a time •H&R Model 922- a revolver carrying 9 rounds of .22 LR, can be silenced. •AR-15-a modernized version of the M16, and very customizable. However it can only me semi-automatic, which is easily fixed by swapping the revolver if that of a M4A1 or M16. •Ruger 10/22, fires .22 LR and uses either 15 or 25 round box magazines, has a retractable stock, and can use a scope. •Machete- a machete used to cut away foliage, good for latex creatures too •Aluminum bat- formerly used in a game of baseball, now used as a bludgeoning tool •Cleaver- a kitchen knife used to hack away at meat, now turned against latex •Spiked Club- A club with spikes •Katana- A Japanese-styled sword •Sledgehammer- heavy, makes the welder slow, but hits hard •Rapier- fancy sword, meant to poke •Scythe- can keep things at a distance, decent for slashing too Before the current events, five years ago, there were riots in the ruins, where Thunder Science, Rioters, and Latex creatures clashed in the streets. While the war has long since ended, there are still remnants of these groups who continue the war on each other. Thunder Science Remnants— primarily made up of surviving scientists and security guards, some of which have tranfurred themselves and somehow retained consciousness and memories, residing in bunkers to stay alive. Rioter Remnants— Made up of citizens who survived the fall, and maintain a grudge against Thunder Science and Government, however they are prone to infighting, and reside in hideouts. Latex creatures— simply failed experiments seeking to expand through the ruins, converting any living thing to their sides, however the Dark and Light latex species refuse to work together, as they are natural enemies.
