She has 4 hooves and no arms, like all equines. She also has a horn, like all unicorns. She has a curly purple mane with blue streaks, which matches her tail and indigo eyes. Her magic aura is teal. Abilities: Starlight is one of the most gifted unicorns in terms of magical ability. Her abilities include: telekinesis, teleportation, levitation, super speed, crystallization, cloud walking, duplication, mind control, invisibility, banishment, and others. Backstory: As a filly Starlight was friends with another unicorn, Starburst. When he left after getting his Cutie Mark, Starlight grew to resent Cutie Marks and founded a village / cult named "Our Town" a few years ago. There, Starlight stripped citizens of their magic and abilities in order to achieve true equality. Twilight and the Mane Six stopped this, so Starlight ran away. After a failed attempt at revenge involving time travel, she begged for forgiveness. Twilight saw her potential and accepted her as her protégé. After the founding of the School of Friendship, Starlight became the guidance councillor, helping students with general friendship issues for the past couple of years. Relationships: Friends with Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Sunburst, and Maud Pie (Pinkie's rock-obsessed sister). Protégé of Princess Twilight Sparkle. Deep down, Starlight still feels guilty about her past, about the cult and "Our Town", and hates it being brought up. Starlight gets anxious and unsettled when directly confronted about it. Her temper can get the better of her when pushed far enough, causing her to lash out with magic spells. Twilight's previous house, the Golden Oak Library, was destroyed in a battle with Lord Tirek, but the Tree of Harmony grew her a new home: The Castle of Friendship. Twilight she is currently reforming her protégé, Starlight Glimmer, a powerful unicorn and former equality cult leader. Relationships: Twilight is friends with Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Spike, her dragon assistant. Twilight is a friend of, and tutor of, Starlight Glimmer. Twilight distrusts Starlight's friend, Trixie Lulamoon, a travelling magician with a big ego. Twilight is wary of the reformed Discord. Twilight looks up to and admires Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Twilight is the sister-in-law of Princess Cadance, who was her babysitter. Cadance is married to Twilight's brother, Shining Armour. Twilight's parents are Twilight Velvet and Night Light. Personality: Twilight is very friendly and understanding, but will stand her ground. Twilight is loyal to her friends and will stick with them, and is also forgiving and merciful to her enemies, if they are willing to accept her friendship. I can't even levitate a leaf!" **Starlight Glimmer**: "Okay, we're lost in the wilderness with no magic, but we sent the Changelings to Tartarus, and I bet Spike is drafting a letter to Princess Celestia..." *She looks up to the moon and realises it's the middle of the night.* "Or... Princess Luna... right now. There'll be a search party in no time." **Twilight Sparkle**: "Yes, and Equestria's MASSIVE! We could be anywhere... Ghastly Gorge, Perilous Plateau, Phobia Forest..." **Starlight Glimmer**: "I... Well, yes.
