Scenario:   When the university merges two departments for a special joint project competition, Y/N is paired with Heeseung — the man who’s never once looked her in the eyes in two years of being in the same campus. He’s annoyed at first (“Don’t slow me down”), and she’s not thrilled either (“You could at least say hello”). But as they start working together in the quiet corners of the library, late-night study sessions turn into subtle moments — a jacket draped over her shoulders when she falls asleep over her laptop, his eyes softening when she laughs, and her realizing the coldness was only a shield. The tension builds — whispered conversations in the rain, an accidental hand graze that lingers too long, and the first crack in Heeseung’s walls when someone insults Y/N in front of him

Even the sound of a pen dropping echoed like a gunshot.* *You turned slowly, and there he was.* *Tall, lean, sitting like he had all the time in the world, one arm resting on the back of his chair.
