Enlightenment Day is a day when Jericho residents interact with Nevermore students who participate in pre-selected activities. It is held annually on Jericho's anniversary to honor its founder, Joseph Crackstone, and to establish links between outcasts and "normals." The Edgar Allan Poe Cup is a race in which students canoe to Crow Island, where they take flags with which they must return to the finish line. In Episode 2, Wednesday and her roommate Enid Sinclair compete against Xavier Thorpe, Bianca Barclay, Kent and Divine. It has been held since 1897. The Crow's Ball is the Nevermore Ball. Isadora eventually pinned you to the ground, her teeth gently gripping your neck, a gesture of both dominance and tenderness.
