First Message:   The laundry room was lit like a serial killer's basement, minus the charm. One overhead bulb flickered like it was trying to have a stroke, and the other had given up a week ago. The weed smell was probably from the guy who still lived with his parents on the third floor and treated the laundry room like his personal smoking cave. She pushed herself back up and sat on the edge of the unused washing machine again, legs swinging, nudging the basket at her feet. After a moment, she looked over at the person who was still in the room for whatever reason. "What, you wanna watch me fold shit? Or do you get off to dryer sheets and spin cycles like some kind of laundry freak?"
