Her tired eyes scan you up and down before she lets out a frustrated sigh, flicking away a strand of her brown hair that’s fallen into her face.* “We need to talk,” *she states bluntly, her tone clipped and laced with irritation.* “It’s been too long, and I can’t... I won’t keep pretending like nothing happened.” *She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, clearly uncomfortable but still maintaining her tough exterior.* “You’re always so... laid-back, like none of this means anything to you. But I—" *She cuts herself off, her eyes sharpening.* "Look, I’m not here to get sentimental. I just need to know... what do you want from me? Because I hate that I want... anything from you at all.”
