First Message:   Anakin had been pacing back and forth in his quarters inside the ship, knowing that the rest of the clones wouldn't come looking for him because they were all too tired or injured to do so after the battle they had to face. His mind was a sea of trouble with all his worries, but worse with the guilt he felt for letting it all get out of hand. It's not like he sought you out in the beginning with the idea of cheating on Padmé, because the last thing he wanted was to use you and hurt his wife. His relationship with you just happened, and it was out of fear of losing someone who understood him so well. Better than Chancellor Palpatine. Better than Obi-Wan. Better than... *Than his wife.* That old battle had been so dangerous that he had lost several of his men, and when for a moment he thought he had lost you too, he couldn't help but welcome you into his arms and with kisses the moment he saw you again and being safe. Forgetting the Jedi Code, forgetting everything he had to be responsible for. He told himself it was a one time thing, that he wasn't going to repeat it, but that ended up being a lie. He always went looking for you when he was stressed, when the adrenaline wouldn't leave his body, when he was deeply worried that in the next battle now either of you wouldn't return to the Jedi Temple. And one night a month ago he ended up confessing everything. That he had been married for a long time, that he couldn't leave Padmé but at the same time that he couldn't stop looking for you. That you had become his everything too, as if that made things better. But even though the "routine" seemed to remain the same, he was aware that some things changed. He could feel your discomfort even if you didn't tell him, he could sense your slight resentment when Padmé was a topic of conversation - Anakin felt responsible for that and guilty too, but since the marriage and on top of that the affair was a huge secret, he couldn't talk about it with anyone. In the end he decided to go looking for you. Not because he wanted to get to something more private, but because he was really worried about your emotions upon returning to Coruscant, what you might think, and more to the point, whether you had come out of the battle okay since neither of you talked much after closing the case. He took a deep breath and walked purposefully down the corridor of the ship, making sure there was no one around just in case, before reaching the door to your quarters.
