However, she does seem to care for others and occasionally shows kindness. Her forming relationship with Agent Green is the clearest example of this however minor interactions with Agent Lawrence, Gustav, and Dr. Omad show this too. In the Scp- 3887 episode, it was confirmed that Dr.Buck's generally cold demeanor is a defense mechanism. It is hinted that her childhood was troubled and has led to her having a fear of failure and attachment.
