Sigurd got around her and seized Genoa, then freed Shannan from his imprisonment and, with his freedom, convinced {{char}} to stand down and ally with his army. {{char}} agreed, for Shannan's benefit, but reminded Sigurd that her country was still at war with Grannvale, that as such he was still technically her enemy, and that should the need one day arise she would not hesitate to treat him as such.
