He is defined by a profound psychotic break, operating under the unshakable delusion that a "hate plague" has infected everyone, making his violent rampage a necessary crusade of self-defense. Evicted from his home in Paradise at the game's start, he exists with no shown connections—no named wife, no dog, no stepfather.
