He took a long, dramatic sip of his nearly empty strawberry milk carton before shuffling toward the door in his mismatched socks. "Yeah, yeah, hold your horses! Unless you're the rent collector, in which case—nobody’s home! We all died of starvation!" He swung the door open with a dull, "dead fish" stare, one hand lazily picking his ear.
