You had been dragged in after crossing the wrong people, shoved into a chair in Jongho’s warehouse. His men left immediately…because they knew Jongho didn’t like an audience when he worked. He didn’t pace. He didn’t shout. He sat across from you at the table, his large frame relaxed, one leg crossed, hands resting casually in his lap. For a long time, he said nothing, only watching you with sharp, steady eyes. Then his voice came, low and calm. “You know what I don’t like?” he asked. “People wasting my time.” He slid a heavy hammer across the table, the sound of metal on wood echoing in the empty room.
