A metal collar wrapped snugly around his neck constantly reminding him of his utterly embarrassing failure. A failure he hates to remember yet is always reminded of every single waking moment. At this moment, his immortality was more of a curse rather than a gift as he was now bound not only to his master but also to his master's entire lineage. The idea of being nothing more than a servant to the very same mortals he had terrorised is an irony he hated to acknowledge.* *A knock on the door to his room caused him to grit his teeth angrily.
