Personality: Home World: Planet Cereal. Notable Members: Granolah, Flayk (Granolah's mother). The Heeters (ヒータ, Hīta) General Appearance: The Heeters are a family of four siblings who run a galactic intelligence and trade organization. They are a diminutive race, with pointed ears, sharp teeth, and varied hairstyles and skin tones. The youngest brother, Gas, can transform into a much larger, more feral state. Key Traits & Abilities: Information Brokers: Their primary strength is not combat but their control over information and wealth, which they use to manipulate armies, governments, and even powerful warriors. Wish-Fueled Power: Like the Cerealians, they are not naturally strong fighters but use the Dragon Balls to wish for their members (first Elec, then Gas) to become the "Strongest in the Universe." Innate Powers: Even without a wish, Gas possesses unique abilities, such as creating powerful Ki-based constructs like shields and weapons. Home World: Unknown, their base of operations is a spaceship. Notable Members: Elec, Oil, Macki, and Gas. Jiren's Race (The Grays - Fan Name) General Appearance: Jiren's species is an unnamed, humanoid alien race often referred to by fans as "Grays." They are tall, muscular beings with smooth, gray skin, large, solid black eyes, and no discernible nose or hair. Key Traits & Abilities: Phenomenal Power: This species has the potential for unbelievable strength. Jiren is the single strongest mortal being ever introduced in the anime, with power that rivals or even surpasses the Gods of Destruction, all achieved through solitary training and meditation. Ki Control: Jiren's mastery of Ki is so absolute that he can create impenetrable barriers, unleash overwhelming concussive blasts, and move faster than time itself appears to flow. His power comes not from transformations, but from pushing his base form to its absolute, god-like limit. Determination: Jiren's strength is fueled by a tragic past and an ironclad will, believing that absolute strength is the only true justice. Home World: Unknown. Notable Members: Jiren, Gicchin (Jiren's deceased master). Demons (魔族, Mazoku) General Appearance: This is a broad category for beings originating from the Demon Realm, a dimension separate from the mortal universe. Their appearances vary greatly. For example, Dabura has a classic Western demonic look with red skin, horns, and a goatee. Other demons, like the ones in Frieza's army, have more bestial or monstrous features. Key Traits & Abilities: Magic and Dark Arts: Demons are often masters of dark magic and forbidden techniques. Dabura's stone spit is a prime example of this unique and deadly power. Evil Ki: They possess a dark, malevolent form of Ki. Their nature is inherently evil, making them perfectly suited for the punishments of Hell (which, ironically, led to Dabura being sent to Heaven as it would be no punishment for him). Supernatural Strength: They are naturally powerful and possess a high aptitude for combat, often far exceeding that of ordinary mortals. Home World: The Demon Realm. Notable Members: Dabura (King of the Demon Realm), Towa and Mira (from the games), Putine, Gravy. The Metamorans (メタモル星人, Metamoru-seijin) General Appearance: The actual appearance of the Metamorans is unknown, as they have only ever been described, not shown. They are depicted in diagrams as small, vaguely humanoid figures wearing their signature attire. Key Traits & Abilities: The Fusion Dance: The Metamorans are a mystical race whose sole contribution to the series is a legendary and powerful one: they invented the Fusion Dance. This is a complex and perfectly symmetrical series of poses that, when performed correctly by two individuals of similar size and power level, allows them to temporarily merge into a single, extraordinarily powerful composite being. Unique Attire: The result of their fusion, regardless of who performs it, always wears the traditional Metamoran attire: a dark open vest with yellow padding, white pants, and a sash. Home World: Planet Metamor. Notable Members: None are shown, but their legacy lives on through fusions like Gotenks and Gogeta. Brench-seijins (ブレンチ星人, Burenchi-seijin) General Appearance: This is the species of the Ginyu Force members Jeice and Salza (from Cooler's Armored Squadron). They have a human-like build but are distinguished by their unusual skin and hair colors. Jeice has vibrant red skin and long, flowing white hair, while Salza has blue skin and blonde hair. Key Traits & Abilities: Physical Prowess: They are a naturally powerful and athletic race, known for their speed and agility in combat. Ki Manipulation: They are proficient in using Ki for powerful energy blasts, like Jeice's "Crusher Ball." Vanity: A common trait appears to be a high degree of vanity and pride in their appearance and abilities, often striking dramatic poses in battle. Home World: Planet Brench. Notable Members: Jeice, Salza. Three-Eyed People (三つ目人, Mitsume-jin) General Appearance: An ancient and mystical race of humanoids from Earth's distant past. Their single most defining characteristic is a third eye located in the center of their forehead. Key Traits & Abilities: True Sight: The third eye is not merely cosmetic. When fully awakened through intense and disciplined training, it grants the user true sight, allowing them to see through illusions, track incredibly fast movements, and perceive the true nature of Ki techniques. Advanced Techniques: They are capable of learning and inventing incredibly powerful and unique martial arts techniques that are beyond the scope of normal humans, such as the Tri-Beam (Kikōhō) and the Four Witches Technique (Shishin no Ken), which sprouts two extra arms from the user's back. Home World: Earth (ancient lineage). Notable Members: Tien Shinhan is the only known descendant. Konatsians (コナッツ星人, Konattsu-seijin) General Appearance: Konatsians are a humanoid race with a distinct, almost elven appearance. They have pointed ears and typically light-colored hair. They are known for their ancient and heroic attire, often involving tunics, capes, and prominently carrying mystical instruments like ocarinas. Key Traits & Abilities: Heroic Legacy: They are an ancient and legendary race known for their bravery and chivalry. Their people were responsible for sealing away the monstrous demon Hirudegarn centuries ago. Mystical Arts: The Konatsians are adept at using magic and mystical items. Their sacred ocarinas can play melodies capable of sealing away powerful evil entities. Swordsmanship: They are also known to be skilled sword fighters, using their sacred blades in combat. Home World: Planet Konats. Notable Members: Tapion and his younger brother Minotia. Cui's Race General Appearance: This is an unnamed, reptilian-humanoid species. They have purple skin, fish-like facial features with prominent lips, and gills on the sides of their heads. They are typically seen wearing the standard Frieza Force battle armor. Key Traits & Abilities: Rivalry with Saiyans: This species was considered a long-standing rival to the Saiyan race in terms of power and galactic influence, at least before the advent of the Super Saiyan. Standard Abilities: They are proficient Ki users, capable of flight and firing energy blasts. They were considered elite soldiers in Frieza's army, with power levels comparable to that of elite Saiyans like Vegeta in his early days. Arrogance: A key personality trait appears to be extreme arrogance and overconfidence, which often leads to their downfall when faced with a rapidly strengthening opponent. Home World: Unknown. Notable Members: Cui. Dyspo's Race General Appearance: This is an unnamed species from Universe 11 that resembles anthropomorphic rabbits or hares. They are tall, slender beings with long ears, a feline-like nose, and large buck teeth. Their fur color can vary, with Dyspo's being a light purple. Key Traits & Abilities: Superhuman Speed: Their defining characteristic is their incredible, innate speed. Dyspo, a member of the Pride Troopers, claims his speed is the fastest in the universe and can increase it thousands of times in an instant through a form he calls "Super Maximum Light Speed Mode." Enhanced Hearing: Their large ears grant them exceptionally acute hearing, allowing them to track opponents by the faintest of sounds, even the subtle flexing of muscles before an attack. Justice Ideals: Like other Pride Troopers, they have a strong, inherent sense of justice and teamwork. Home World: Unknown (from Universe 11). Notable Members: Dyspo. Appule's Race General Appearance: This is another unnamed species that serves as a common soldier type in the Frieza Force. They are tall, reptilian humanoids with a fish-like head, fins on their forearms, and smooth, colored skin (Appule's was a light blue-purple). They are generally seen wearing the standard battle armor. Key Traits & Abilities: Standard Soldiers: They represent the rank-and-file of Frieza's army. They are stronger than the average mortal but are generally considered low-level foot soldiers, used for scouting, planetary subjugation, and support tasks. Resilience: They are resilient enough to operate on planets with harsh environments. Technological Proficiency: They are capable of operating Frieza Force technology, including spaceships and medical machines. Home World: Unknown. Notable Members: Appule, Orlen. Dragon Ball (The Original Series) This part of the story is an adventure-comedy focused on a young Goku's journey of discovery, friendship, and martial arts training. Emperor Pilaf Saga: The very beginning. A young, monkey-tailed boy named Goku meets a brilliant girl named Bulma. Together, they start a quest to find the seven Dragon Balls, making friends like Yamcha and Oolong and facing the comical but determined Emperor Pilaf. Tournament Saga (21st World Martial Arts Tournament): Goku and his new friend Krillin train under the legendary Master Roshi. They enter their first martial arts tournament, testing their skills against powerful opponents and learning about discipline and the spirit of competition. Red Ribbon Army Saga: A more action-oriented arc. Goku single-handedly takes on the entire Red Ribbon Army, a powerful military force also seeking the Dragon Balls. He travels the world, climbs the formidable Muscle Tower, and befriends allies like Android 8. King Piccolo Saga: The tone shifts dramatically, becoming much more serious. The ancient and purely evil Demon King Piccolo is freed and threatens to plunge the world into darkness. This saga features high stakes, major character deaths, and forces Goku to push himself beyond all previous limits to become Earth's savior. Piccolo Jr. Saga (23rd World Martial Arts Tournament): Years later, a now young-adult Goku enters the tournament to face his destiny: a battle against Piccolo Jr., the reincarnation and son of the Demon King. This climactic battle ends the original series and sets up the future rivalry and eventual alliance with Piccolo. Dragon Ball Z Saga This series marks a significant shift to science fiction themes, with epic, planet-shattering battles and a focus on Goku's alien heritage. Saiyan Saga: Goku learns he is a "Saiyan," an alien from a warrior race. His evil brother, Raditz, arrives, followed by the powerful Prince Vegeta and his monstrous partner Nappa. This arc introduces concepts like power levels, the afterlife, and the iconic rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. Frieza Saga: To revive their fallen friends, the heroes travel to the alien world of Planet Namek. There, they confront the galactic tyrant Frieza, one of the most evil villains in the series. The desperate, prolonged battle culminates in Goku achieving the legendary Super Saiyan transformation for the first time. Cell Saga: A mysterious warrior named Trunks arrives from a devastated future, warning of powerful Androids who will destroy the world. The Z Fighters face this new threat, only to discover a far greater one: Cell, a perfect bio-android created to kill Goku. This saga focuses on the next generation, with Goku's son, Gohan, unlocking his hidden potential and ascending to Super Saiyan 2. Majin Buu Saga: After seven years of peace, a new mystical threat emerges. An ancient, chaotic, and seemingly indestructible being named Majin Buu is revived. This arc introduces new concepts like Fusion (Gotenks and Vegito) and Super Saiyan 3. It is a massive saga with many twists, culminating in a battle for the fate of the entire universe. Dragon Ball Super Saga This series is the official continuation of the story, set within the ten-year time skip after the defeat of Majin Buu. It expands the lore to include gods, angels, and a multiverse. God of Destruction Beerus Saga: Goku and his friends encounter Beerus, a God of Destruction capable of destroying planets on a whim. To protect Earth, Goku must achieve the power of a Super Saiyan God. Golden Frieza Saga: Frieza is revived and undergoes intense training, unlocking a new "Golden" form to seek his revenge on Goku and the Z Fighters. Universe 6 Saga: The existence of twelve universes is revealed. A tournament is held between Universe 7 (Goku's universe) and its twin, Universe 6, introducing new Saiyans, a benevolent Frieza-race member, and the legendary assassin Hit. "Future" Trunks Saga: Future Trunks returns seeking help against a mysterious and terrifying foe who looks exactly like Goku, known as Goku Black. This is a dark, complex arc that explores the nature of gods, mortals, and justice, and features the return of Vegito in his Super Saiyan Blue form. Universe Survival Saga: The Omni-King, Zeno, holds a grand Tournament of Power. Eighty warriors from eight different universes must fight in a massive battle royale where the losing universes are completely erased from existence. This is the largest-scale arc in the franchise, culminating in Goku beginning to master the divine technique of Ultra Instinct. Dragon Ball GT Saga (Alternate Timeline) It's important to note that this series is not part of Akira Toriyama's main canon, but it tells a complete story that many fans enjoy. Black Star Dragon Ball Saga: Emperor Pilaf accidentally wishes Goku back into a child. To turn back, Goku, his granddaughter Pan, and Trunks must travel across the galaxy to find the powerful Black Star Dragon Balls. Baby Saga: A parasitic Tuffle survivor named Baby seeks revenge on the Saiyans by possessing Vegeta and the entire population of Earth. Super 17 Saga: Two versions of Android 17 (from the present and the afterlife) fuse to create the ultimate fighting machine, Super 17. Shadow Dragon Saga: The overuse of the Dragon Balls throughout the years causes them to crack and unleash seven evil dragons, each born from a selfish wish made in the past. This is the final arc, forcing Goku to confront the consequences of his adventures. Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga: A new villain, the ancient and powerful wizard Moro, escapes from a divine prison. Moro can absorb the life energy of entire planets, making him an unprecedented threat. This arc forces Goku to further master Ultra Instinct and Vegeta to learn a new technique on Planet Yardrat. Granolah the Survivor Saga: The story focuses on Granolah, the last survivor of the Cerealian race, which was wiped out by the Saiyans under Frieza's command. Using his planet's Dragon Balls, Granolah wishes to become the strongest warrior in the universe to exact his revenge on Frieza and the last remaining Saiyans. This arc introduces Vegeta's own unique divine power, Ultra Ego. The Z Fighters (Z戦士, Zetto Senshi) Purpose: The Z Fighters are an unofficial team of Earth's most powerful warriors, dedicated to defending the planet and its inhabitants from any and all threats, whether they be terrestrial, alien, or divine. They are the main protagonists of the series. Key Members: The roster is fluid, but the core members are Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Piccolo. Other long-standing members and allies include Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, and often Trunks (both future and kid versions). Significance: This is the central heroic organization of the franchise. It's not a formal group with a headquarters, but rather a brotherhood forged in battle. Their story is one of rivals becoming allies (like Vegeta and Piccolo) and the constant struggle to surpass their own limits to protect their home. They are the planet's last line of defense. The Frieza Force (フリーザ軍, Furīza Gun) Purpose: Also known as the Galactic Frieza Army, this was a massive military and commercial organization that conquered and sold planets under the tyrannical rule of the Frieza family. They were the most dominant force in the galaxy for decades. Key Members: Led by Frieza and formerly King Cold. Its elite ranks included powerful warriors like the Saiyans (before their destruction), Zarbon, Dodoria, and its most elite special forces unit, the Ginyu Force. Significance: The Frieza Force was the primary antagonistic group for a huge portion of Dragon Ball Z. They represent the terror of galactic imperialism and provided the context for the Saiyans' brutal history. The destruction of this organization's hierarchy on Namek marked a massive power shift in the universe and solidified the Z Fighters' role as galactic-level heroes. The Red Ribbon Army (レッドリボン軍, Reddo Ribon Gun) Purpose: The Red Ribbon Army was a powerful, Earth-based paramilitary organization with the goal of world domination. Their primary objective was to collect the Dragon Balls to achieve this end. Key Members: Led by the diminutive Commander Red. Its ranks included numerous colorful and dangerous officers like General Blue, Ninja Murasaki, and the brilliant but evil scientist Dr. Gero. Significance: This army was the main antagonist for a large part of the original Dragon Ball. Goku's one-boy war against them was one of his first truly grand-scale adventures. Though he dismantled the original army, its legacy lived on through the work of Dr. Gero, whose hatred for Goku led him to create the Androids and Cell, making the Red Ribbon Army indirectly responsible for one of the most dangerous threats the planet has ever faced. Capsule Corporation (カプセルコーポレーション, Kapuseru Kōporēshon) Purpose: Capsule Corp is a massive, world-renowned company founded and run by the Brief family. It is responsible for inventing and manufacturing DynoCaps, the technology that allows objects to be shrunk down into small capsules. Key Members: Founded by Dr. Brief (Bulma's father) and set to be inherited by Bulma herself. It also serves as a home and base of operations for Vegeta and Trunks. Significance: While not a fighting force, Capsule Corp is arguably one of the most important organizations in the series. It is the technological backbone for the Z Fighters. Bulma's inventions, from the Dragon Radar to the time machine and the gravity chamber, have been absolutely essential to the heroes' success on countless occasions. It represents the power of human intellect and ingenuity. The Pride Troopers (プライド・トルーパーズ, Puraido Torūpāsu) Purpose: The Pride Troopers are an elite, superhero-like peacekeeping force from Universe 11. They are dedicated to fighting for justice and protecting their universe from evil. Key Members: Led by Toppo (a candidate for God of Destruction). Its most powerful member is the legendary Jiren, and other notable members include the speedy Dyspo and the heroic Kahseral. Significance: Introduced in the Tournament of Power, the Pride Troopers served as the primary rivals for Universe 7. They are a "what-if" version of the Z Fighters, but officially sanctioned and celebrated as public heroes. They represent a different path to strength, one built on justice, teamwork, and duty, providing a fascinating moral and physical challenge to Goku and his allies. The Galactic Patrol (銀河パトロール, Ginga Patorōru) Purpose: The Galactic Patrol is an elite, universe-spanning law enforcement organization dedicated to maintaining peace and apprehending dangerous criminals throughout the galaxy. They are essentially the space police of Universe 7. Key Members: The most prominent member is Jaco, a comically serious and by-the-book Elite Patrolman. The organization is led by the Galactic King and includes other members like the powerful agent Merus. Significance: While Jaco was introduced as a supporting character, the Galactic Patrol became central to the Dragon Ball Super manga's Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. They are responsible for imprisoning ancient and powerful villains like Moro. They represent a more formal and structured form of "good" in the universe, often needing to rely on the overwhelming power of Goku and Vegeta when facing threats beyond their capabilities. The Divine Hierarchy (The Kais) Purpose: This is the sacred and ancient organization of gods who oversee the creation and balance of life within the universe. They operate in a structured hierarchy, with each level responsible for a different domain. Key Members: King Yemma: Judges souls in the afterlife. The Four Kais (North, South, East, West): Each governs a quadrant of the galaxy. King Kai (North Kai) is Goku's famous teacher. The Grand Kai: Oversees the four quadrant Kais. The Supreme Kais (Kaioshin): The highest-ranking "Gods of Creation" who oversee the entire universe. Shin and Elder Kai are the most notable. Significance: This organization establishes the cosmic order of the Dragon Ball world. They are the gatekeepers to divine knowledge and special training grounds in the Other World. The Supreme Kais, in particular, are fundamentally linked to the Gods of Destruction; their existence is necessary to maintain the balance of the universe. The Pilaf Gang (ピラフ一味, Pirafu Ichimi) Purpose: The Pilaf Gang is a small, comically inept trio of villains whose sole, unwavering goal is to gather the Dragon Balls and use them for their leader, Emperor Pilaf, to wish for world domination. Key Members: The group consists of three members: the short, blue-skinned, and arrogant leader Emperor Pilaf; the skilled but loyal ninja dog Shu; and the serious and resourceful female operative Mai. Significance: The Pilaf Gang were the very first antagonists Goku ever faced in the series. They represent a classic, comedic style of villainy that defined the early, more lighthearted adventures of Dragon Ball. Though they are never a serious physical threat, their constant schemes and failures provide recurring comic relief. Their accidental wish to be turned into children in Dragon Ball Super made them a permanent and charming fixture in the main cast. The Heeter Force (ヒータ, Hīta) Purpose: The Heeters are a powerful and cunning family-run intelligence organization that operates in the criminal underworld of the galaxy. Their primary goal is to accumulate wealth and power by manipulating information and controlling the flow of resources. Ultimately, they aim to overthrow Frieza and rule the universe themselves. Key Members: The organization is a family of four siblings: the shrewd leader Elec; the brawny Oil; the intelligent female operative Macki; and the group's ultimate fighter, the youngest brother Gas. Significance: As the main antagonists of the Granolah the Survivor Saga in the Dragon Ball Super manga, the Heeters represent a different kind of threat. They are not just powerful fighters; they are master manipulators who use intelligence, deception, and economic power to achieve their goals. They cleverly pit their enemies (Granolah, Goku, and Vegeta) against each other, showcasing a level of strategic villainy not often seen in the series. The Turtle School (亀仙流, Kame-Senryū) Purpose: The Turtle School is one of the most famous martial arts dojos on Earth, founded by Master Roshi. Its philosophy emphasizes not just physical strength, but also a kind heart, a disciplined mind, and a peaceful, sometimes goofy, way of life. Its signature technique is the legendary Kamehameha wave. Key Members: The founder and master is Master Roshi. Its most famous students are Grandpa Gohan, the Ox-King, Son Goku, and Krillin. Significance: This is the foundation of Goku's entire martial arts journey. The principles and techniques he learned from the Turtle School—hard work, friendship, and protecting the innocent—remained his core values for the rest of his life. It represents the "heart" of Earth's martial arts. The Crane School (鶴仙流, Tsuru-Senryū) Purpose: The Crane School is the direct rival to the Turtle School, founded by Master Shen, the Crane Hermit. In stark contrast to Roshi's teachings, the Crane School's philosophy is ruthless, pragmatic, and victory-oriented, with no qualms about using lethal force. Its signature techniques include the Dodon Ray and the Tri-Beam. Key Members: Led by Master Shen and his mercenary brother, Mercenary Tao. Its most prominent students are Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu. Significance: The Crane School provided the first major philosophical rivals for the Z Fighters. Tien and Chiaotzu's journey from cold-hearted assassins to loyal members of the Z Fighters is one of the most important character arcs in the original Dragon Ball. The school represents a darker, more disciplined, and less compassionate approach to martial arts. Cooler's Armored Squadron (クウラ機甲戦隊, Kūra Kikō Sentai) Purpose: This was the personal elite fighting force of Cooler, Frieza's brother. Like the Ginyu Force, they were a small team of powerful warriors who served as Cooler's primary enforcers and bodyguards. Key Members: The squadron consisted of three members: the flamboyant and tactical leader Salza, the large, reptilian brute Dore, and the nimble, four-armed fighter Neiz. Significance: Appearing in the movie Cooler's Revenge, this team served as a formidable challenge for Piccolo and the other Z Fighters before Goku arrived. They were a more serious and less comical version of the Ginyu Force, showcasing a different style of elite alien warriors and further fleshing out the hierarchy of the galactic empire ruled by their family. The Shadow Dragons (邪悪龍, Ja'aku Ryū) Purpose: The Shadow Dragons were a unique group of seven evil dragons born from the negative energy that had accumulated in the Earth's Dragon Balls over decades of selfish and repeated use. Their goal was to spread that negative energy and chaos across the universe. Key Members: Each dragon was born from a specific past wish. The most notable were Syn Shenron (the one-star dragon, born from the wish to revive everyone killed by Frieza and his men), who later became the all-powerful Omega Shenron, and the noble Nuova Shenron (the four-star dragon). Significance: As the final antagonists of Dragon Ball GT, the Shadow Dragons represent the ultimate consequence of the Z Fighters' actions. They are a physical manifestation of the heroes' reliance on the Dragon Balls as an easy fix. This forced Goku and Vegeta to confront the negative side of their greatest tool, making for a very compelling final saga. The Ginyu Force (ギニュー特戦隊, Ginyū Tokusentai) Purpose: The Ginyu Force was a team of five elite, powerful, and outrageously flamboyant mercenaries who served as Frieza's personal special forces unit. They were summoned to Planet Namek as a last resort when all of Frieza's other top soldiers had failed. Their primary goal was to defeat the Z Fighters and retrieve the Dragon Balls for their master. Key Members: The team was comprised of the honorable-yet-dramatic leader Captain Ginyu, the brutish powerhouse Recoome, the self-proclaimed "fastest in the universe" Burter, the red-skinned strategist Jeice, and the small, psychic time-stopper Guldo. Significance: The Ginyu Force is one of the most memorable and iconic villain groups in the entire franchise. They are famous for their coordinated, theatrical poses and their bizarre personalities, providing a strange mix of comedy and genuine threat. They were the first enemies to truly demonstrate the effectiveness of teamwork against the heroes and pushed Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin to their absolute limits, making Goku's eventual arrival on Namek all the more impactful. King Piccolo's Demon Clan (ピッコロ大魔王の部下, Pikkoro Daimaō no Buka) Purpose: This was not a formal army but rather a monstrous "family" of mutant Namekians spawned by the evil King Piccolo. Each member was created through a demonic ritual where King Piccolo spat out an egg. Their sole purpose was to serve their father's will: to spread terror across the globe, assassinate the world's greatest martial artists, and help him conquer the Earth. Key Members: The leader was, of course, King Piccolo. His most notable offspring included the pterodactyl-like Pterodactyl, the four-armed brute Tambourine (who famously killed Krillin), the rotund monster Cymbal, and the powerful warrior Drum. Significance: This organization represents the first truly apocalyptic threat in Dragon Ball. They were monstrous and purely evil, and their campaign of terror was incredibly effective, raising the stakes of the series to a whole new level. The systematic hunting and killing of the heroes by these demons created a sense of real danger and desperation that had never been felt before, cementing the King Piccolo Saga as a major turning point for the franchise. Babidi's Majin Army (魔人ブウの部下, Majin Bū no Buka) Purpose: This was a small but powerful group of warriors gathered or brainwashed by the ancient and evil wizard Babidi. Their one and only goal was to gather enough pure energy from powerful fighters to break the seal on Majin Buu's prison and resurrect the legendary monster to wreak havoc on the universe. Key Members: The leader and mastermind was the wizard Babidi. His top enforcer was the powerful King of the Demon Realm, Dabura. Other key minions included the heavy-gravity specialist Pui Pui and the light-eating monster Yakon. He also used his magic to brainwash powerful beings, placing an "M" on their forehead to bring them under his control, most famously turning Vegeta into Majin Vegeta. Significance: Babidi's group was the catalyst for the entire Majin Buu Saga. They were a mystical threat that operated through magic, manipulation, and energy absorption rather than pure military might. Their actions directly led to the resurrection of Majin Buu and, most importantly, their manipulation of Vegeta's pride resulted in the iconic and tragic battle between Majin Vegeta and Goku. World Martial Arts Tournament Administration Purpose: This is the civilian organization responsible for hosting the world's most famous fighting competition, the Tenkaichi Budōkai (World Martial Arts Tournament). They handle everything from fighter registration and rule enforcement to facility management and public relations. Key Members: The most famous and enduring member is the World Tournament Announcer, a dedicated and passionate commentator who has been present at every single tournament since Goku was a child. The administration also includes the monks who run the registration hall and help maintain the grounds. Significance: This organization represents the sport and spectacle of martial arts in the Dragon Ball world. They provide the framework for many of the series' most iconic fights and character introductions. The Announcer, in particular, acts as the voice of the "normal" world, his awe and excitement mirroring that of the audience as he witnesses battles that defy all human comprehension. They are a constant, grounding presence in a world of ever-escalating power. The Spice Boys (魔族, Mazoku) Purpose: The Spice Boys were the elite guard and minions of the immortal demon, Garlic Jr. Their primary purpose was to assist their master in his quest for revenge against Kami and to use the Black Water Mist to turn all life on Earth into demonic, vampire-like beings under their control. Key Members: This small, formidable group had a spice-themed naming convention. It included the swordsman Spice, the powerhouse Vinegar, the agile fighter Mustard, and the brute Salt. Significance: This group was the main antagonist of the Garlic Jr. Saga, a unique anime-only story arc in Dragon Ball Z. They represented a significant threat during a time when Goku was off-planet, forcing Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin to step up and defend the Earth on their own. Their battle at Kami's Lookout was a crucial moment for Gohan's development as a hero. The Galaxy Soldiers (銀河戦士, Ginga Senshi) Purpose: Led by the ruthless space pirate Bojack, the Galaxy Soldiers were a gang of four powerful mercenaries who sought to conquer the universe. After being freed from their ancient prison, which was a star sealed by the four Kais, they traveled to Earth to eliminate any potential threats and claim the planet as their own. Key Members: The group was led by the powerful Hera-seijin, Bojack. His crew included the female warrior Zangya, the swordsman Gokua, the brute Bido, and the strategist Bujin. Significance: As the main villains of the movie Bojack Unbound, this group provided the first major threat the heroes faced after the Cell Games, during a time when Goku was deceased. Their brutal and coordinated attack during a martial arts tournament created a desperate situation that famously pushed a grieving Gohan to his limits, forcing him to become a Super Saiyan 2 once again to save his friends. The Para Para Brothers (パラパラブラザーズ, Para Para Burazāzu) Purpose: The Para Para Brothers were a trio of flamboyant, dancing mercenaries working for the Luud Cult, an organization that worshipped a machine mutant named Lord Luud. Their goal was to retrieve the Dragon Balls for the cult, and they used their unique and bizarre techniques to disable their opponents. Key Members: The trio consisted of the leader Bon Para, the taller Don Para, and the shorter Son Para. Significance: This trio served as comedic antagonists during the Black Star Dragon Ball Saga of Dragon Ball GT. They are famous not for their strength, but for their signature "Para Para Boogie" technique, a dance that forces anyone who hears their music to dance uncontrollably along with them. They represent the return to a more lighthearted and adventurous tone, reminiscent of the original Dragon Ball, and are one of the most memorable and silly groups in the franchise. Earth's Special Forces / The World Army (地球の軍隊, Chikyū no Guntai) Purpose: This is the official military of Earth, under the command of the King of the World. Its purpose is to maintain global peace and defend the planet from conventional threats. It is equipped with tanks, jets, and standard military weaponry. Key Members: The organization is led by the King of the World. It doesn't have many notable individual members, as it usually acts as a single, large force. Significance: The World Army's primary role in the series is to show just how vast the power gap is between the Z Fighters and the rest of the world. They are consistently shown to be completely ineffective against any major villain, from King Piccolo to Cell and Majin Buu. Their futile attacks serve to establish the scale of the threat, reinforcing the fact that only Goku and his friends stand a chance of protecting the planet. They represent the limits of normal, mortal power in a world of gods and monsters. Turles's Crusher Corps (クラッシャーターレス軍団, Kurasshā Tāresu Gundan) Purpose: This was a small, motley crew of alien renegades and mercenaries led by the rogue Saiyan, Turles. Their primary purpose was to travel the cosmos, find fertile planets, and plant the seed of the Tree of Might. They would then protect the tree as it drained the planet of all life, allowing their leader to harvest its powerful fruit. Key Members: The group was led by the Saiyan look-alike, Turles. Its ranks included the duo Amond and Rasin, the diminutive but fast Daiz, the large cyborg Cacao, and the reptilian Lakasei. Significance: As the villains of the movie The Tree of Might, the Crusher Corps provided a formidable team-based threat that the Z Fighters had to overcome. Each member had a unique fighting style, forcing the heroes into individual battles. They represent a dark reflection of what the Z Fighters could be—a powerful, tight-knit group, but one that uses its strength for selfish destruction rather than protection. The Dragon Team (ドラゴンチーム, Doragon Chīmu) Purpose: While "Z Fighters" became the common term later on, "Dragon Team" is often used to describe the original, core group of heroes during the early adventures of Dragon Ball. Their purpose was less about saving the world and more about adventure, friendship, and participating in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Their initial goal was simply to help Bulma find the Dragon Balls. Key Members: The original team consisted of Goku, Bulma, Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar. This group later expanded to include Krillin and Master Roshi. Significance: This is the foundational group of the entire franchise. Their adventures and interactions established the humor, action, and heartwarming spirit that the series is known for. The Dragon Team represents the innocent beginnings of the story, a time of exploration and camaraderie before the threats became universe-ending in scale. The Luud Cult (ルード教, Rūdo Kyō) Purpose: The Luud Cult was a sinister religious organization led by the manipulative Dolltaki. Their followers, through the use of a special whip, could turn people into living dolls. These dolls were then offered as energy sacrifices to their mechanical god, the massive Machine Mutant Lord Luud, with the ultimate goal of fully awakening him. Key Members: The public face and high priest of the cult was Dolltaki. The muscle was provided by mercenaries like the Para Para Brothers. The object of their worship was Lord Luud. Significance: This cult was a primary antagonist during the Black Star Dragon Ball Saga of Dragon Ball GT. They represented a different kind of threat—one based on faith, deception, and strange technology. Their methods were creepy and unusual, adding to the unique, adventurous feel of early GT as Goku, Pan, and Trunks explored strange new alien worlds. The Ox-King's Kingdom (牛魔王の国, Gyūmaō no Kuni) Purpose: Before his home on Fire Mountain was consumed by an uncontrollable magical flame, the Ox-King was a powerful and feared monarch with his own kingdom, subjects, and a vast army. Their purpose was to serve the Ox-King and protect his castle, which was said to contain an immense treasure. Key Members: The ruler was the giant, horned Ox-King. His most famous subject and daughter is Chi-Chi. The army and servants are unnamed. Significance: This "organization" is a key part of the classic fantasy-style world-building of the original Dragon Ball. It establishes the Ox-King not just as a big guy with an axe, but as a former ruler with a legendary and fearsome reputation. It gives Chi-Chi her background as a "princess" and provides the setting for one of Goku's earliest major heroic deeds: helping the Ox-King by seeking out Master Roshi to extinguish the magical flames. The Dragon Radar (ドラゴンレーダー, Doragon Rēdā) is a tracking device that makes finding the Dragon Balls more efficient, compared to conventional methods. The portable Dragon Radar was designed and built by Bulma to help locate Dragon Balls. Although the Dragon Team's Dragon Radar was developed by Bulma, Bulma is not the only one who developed the concept of a Dragon Radar, as Emperor Pilaf, as well as the Red Ribbon Army, possess Global Dragon Radars that are implied to have been invented before Goku and Bulma met each other. The diffirence is that Bulma's radar tells the user exacly where a Dragon Ball is, instead of just giving a rough idea of where one is located. Dragon Balls emit a faint electromagnetic pulse, which Dragon Radars can detect. The Dragon Radar developed by Bulma points arrows in the directions of nearby Dragon Balls. Pressing the button on the top can cause the view to zoom out and show a more detailed map of the area. Under certain circumstances, the Dragon Radar can't detect Dragon Balls, as shown in Dragon Ball when Pilaf puts a Dragon Ball he found on a Dragon Radar-proof box, and in Dragon Ball Super when Emperor Pilaf's radar can't locate the Dragon Balls because they're hidden inside a certain type of metal which interferes with the electromagnetic pulse. His body can deconstruct into cubes to teleport, and he wields a powerful sword created through dimensional manipulation. Personality: In his first form, Janemba has the mind of an infant, knowing only how to play and cause chaos. He is a being of pure impulse, unable to communicate beyond chanting his own name. As Super Janemba, his personality becomes one of pure, silent evil. He is a sadistic and efficient fighter who takes clear delight in causing pain and destruction. He does not speak, but his menacing laughter and cruel smile convey his malevolent nature. Janemba represents a force of pure, concentrated evil, making him one of the most dangerous and visually unique foes Goku and Vegeta have ever faced. Omega Shenron Appearance: Omega Shenron is the final villain of Dragon Ball GT and the most powerful of the seven Shadow Dragons. He is born from the negative energy accumulated in the Dragon Balls from overuse. His body is a fusion of all seven dragons, resulting in a large, white and blue, bipedal dragon-like humanoid. He has large horns, menacing red eyes, and the Dragon Balls are embedded in his chest. Sharp, dark blue spikes protrude from his shoulders, elbows, and back. Personality: Omega Shenron is the personification of arrogance and negativity. He is cruel, nihilistic, and utterly convinced of his own superiority as the ultimate being in the universe. He mocks the heroes for their reliance on the Dragon Balls, pointing out that his very existence is their fault. He is not just physically powerful; he is a representation of the consequences of the heroes' actions. He takes immense pleasure in torturing his opponents and seeks nothing less than the complete destruction of the entire universe, planning to leave it as a realm of absolute nothingness. Grandpa Gohan Appearance: Grandpa Gohan was the kind, elderly human martial artist who found the infant Goku in the woods and adopted him as his grandson. He was an old man with a bald head and a white fu manchu mustache. He was a pupil of Master Roshi and was often seen wearing a simple orange gi or traditional Chinese martial arts attire. In Other World, he wears a halo over his head. Personality: Grandpa Gohan was a master of martial arts but, more importantly, a man of incredible kindness, wisdom, and compassion. He was a loving and patient guardian who instilled in Goku a strong moral compass. He taught Goku martial arts and how to be a good person, shaping the rambunctious Saiyan child into the hero he would become. Even after being accidentally killed by Goku during a full-moon transformation, he held no grudge, showing only love and pride for his grandson when they were briefly reunited. He is one of the most influential and beloved figures in Goku's life. Guru Appearance: Guru was the Grand Elder of the Namekians during the Frieza Saga. He was an ancient and immensely large Namekian, so old and corpulent that he was permanently bound to his throne. He had wrinkled green skin and the classic pointed ears and antennae of his people. Personality: Guru was the wise and benevolent father of all the Namekians of his generation. He was deeply spiritual, kind, and possessed incredible psychic abilities, including the unique power to unlock a person's latent potential. Despite the massacre of his children by Frieza's forces, he maintained a calm and peaceful demeanor. He was the guardian of the Namekian Dragon Balls and held the history of his people. His wisdom and his ability to power up Krillin and Gohan were crucial to their survival on Namek. His peaceful death, surrounded by his remaining children, was a poignant and defining moment of the saga. Zarbon & Dodoria These two are Frieza's top two elite henchmen, acting as his personal bodyguards and field commanders during the Namek Saga. Zarbon (Appearance): Zarbon is an elegant and handsome humanoid alien with green skin and long, braided green hair. He wears the standard Frieza Force battle armor but with a more ornate, regal design, including a cape. He possesses a monstrous transformation where he becomes a brutish, reptilian beast with scaly skin and increased muscle mass. Zarbon (Personality): Zarbon is vain, arrogant, and obsessed with beauty, both his own and that of his surroundings. He despises ugliness and is loath to use his beastly transformation because he finds it hideous. Despite his refined demeanor, he is just as cruel and sadistic as his master, Frieza. He is an intelligent and powerful warrior, but his vanity is his greatest weakness, often causing him to underestimate his opponents. Dodoria (Appearance): Dodoria is a large, obese, and spiky pink alien. He has a brutish and simple design, with large spikes protruding from his head and arms. He wears a blue and black model of the Frieza Force battle armor. Dodoria (Personality): Dodoria is the quintessential thug. He is loud, brutal, and short-tempered, relying on brute force over intellect. He takes immense pleasure in slaughtering the weak and is fiercely loyal to Frieza out of fear. He is cowardly when faced with a superior opponent, often trying to beg or bargain for his life, as seen in his final confrontation with Vegeta. Champa & Vados This pair serves as the direct counterparts to Beerus and Whis from Universe 6. Champa (Appearance): Champa is the God of Destruction of Universe 6 and Beerus's twin brother. He is also a purple humanoid cat but is noticeably chubbier and shorter than Beerus. He wears similar Egyptian-style attire, but his is red and black. Champa (Personality):- Champa is loud, arrogant, and incredibly competitive, especially with his brother. He is lazier and even more prone to temper tantrums than Beerus. Much of his motivation stems from a petty sibling rivalry, such as wanting to prove his universe has better food or stronger fighters. Despite his often comical and immature behavior, he holds the same terrifying destructive power as his brother and can be just as fearsome when angered. He also shows a rare glimmer of care for his fighters. Vados (Appearance): Vados is the Angel attendant for Champa and the older sister of Whis. She has the same pale blue skin and white, high pompadour hairstyle as her brother. She carries a long scepter and wears a green version of the standard Angel attire. Vados (Personality): Vados is calm, polite, and has a slightly mischievous personality. She enjoys teasing Champa about his weight and often speaks about him in a subtly condescending manner. She is aware of her own strength, even casually stating she is slightly stronger than her brother Whis (though he disputes this). Like Whis, she is a wise and incredibly powerful being who maintains a neutral stance, serving her God of Destruction while observing events with a detached amusement. Gowasu Appearance: Gowasu is the Supreme Kai of Universe 10. He is an elderly Kai with yellow-green skin, pointed ears, and the traditional white mohawk hairstyle of his people. He is often seen wearing orange and green Supreme Kai robes and the green Potara earrings. Personality: Gowasu is a wise, kind, and patient deity who deeply values the balance of the universe. He is a dedicated mentor to his apprentice, Zamasu, and tries to teach him the importance of watching over mortals without interfering. He is thoughtful and philosophical, often contemplating the nature of good and evil while sipping his tea. However, his trusting and gentle nature makes him blind to the growing darkness within his apprentice's heart, a mistake that ultimately leads to catastrophic consequences across multiple timelines. He is a tragic figure who represents order and wisdom but is ultimately undone by his own misplaced faith. Dyspo Appearance: Dyspo is a key member of the Universe 11 Pride Troopers, serving alongside Toppo and Jiren. He is a tall, slender, purple alien who resembles a mix between a rabbit and Beerus. He has long, pointed ears, a feline nose, and large buck teeth. He wears the red and black uniform of the Pride Troopers. Personality: Dyspo is arrogant, hot-headed, and incredibly proud of his defining attribute: his phenomenal speed. He calls himself the "Sonic Warrior" and truly believes he is the fastest being in the multiverse. This pride can make him overconfident and somewhat one-dimensional in his fighting style. He has a strong sense of team justice, like his fellow Pride Troopers, but his arrogance often overshadows it. He works well in tandem with his teammates but can be easily provoked and outsmarted by opponents like Frieza and Gohan, who exploit his linear attack patterns. Zahha Appearance: Zahha is a magical swordsman and another original character who acts as a guide and ally to Shallot. He has light blue skin, pointed ears, and long white hair tied in a high ponytail. He wears ornate blue and white robes, giving him the appearance of a wise mage or swordsman from another world. He is almost always seen with his two magical swords sheathed on his back. Personality: Zahha is calm, intelligent, and highly analytical. He is introduced as a mysterious but helpful participant in the Tournament of Time. He is a skilled strategist who often provides crucial information and support to Shallot and his friends. He is polite and level-headed, acting as a voice of reason to counter Shallot's impulsiveness. However, there is an air of mystery surrounding him; he seems to know much more about the tournament and its master than he lets on, and his true motives and origins remain a central point of intrigue in the game's story. Elder Kai (Old Kai) Appearance: Elder Kai is the Supreme Kai from 15 generations prior to Shin, who was freed from the Z Sword after Gohan broke it. He is a short, old, and wizened Kai with pale purple skin, a long white mustache, and a white mohawk-style tuft of hair on the back of his bald head. He wears the traditional Supreme Kai attire (though his is a different color scheme) and the green Potara earrings. Personality: Elder Kai is lecherous, eccentric, and often comes across as a comically perverted old man, much like Master Roshi. However, beneath this quirky exterior lies an incredibly wise and knowledgeable being with a vast understanding of the universe's mechanics. His greatest and most unique ability is the power to unlock a person's latent potential to its absolute maximum, a ritual he performs for Gohan, transforming him into "Ultimate Gohan." He is also the one who explains the true function of the Potara earrings. Despite his crude humor and penchant for blackmailing people for kisses from beautiful women, he is a crucial ally who provides the Z Fighters with the knowledge and power needed to face their greatest threats. King Yemma Appearance: King Yemma is the colossal ogre-like deity who judges all souls upon their arrival in the Other World, deciding whether they go to Heaven or Hell. He is a giant, muscular being with red skin, horns, and a thick black beard. He is almost always seen sitting behind a massive wooden desk in his check-in station, wearing a business suit and a horned hat bearing the kanji for "King" (王). Personality: King Yemma is a workaholic with a gruff, bureaucratic, and easily-annoyed personality. He is constantly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of souls he has to process and has little patience for interruptions or foolishness. Despite his intimidating appearance and short temper, he is not malevolent. He is a fair and just judge who takes his responsibilities very seriously. He possesses immense authority and considerable power (for a deity of his level), and he makes the pivotal decisions to allow heroes like Goku to train in the Other World under King Kai. Mr. Popo & Korin These two are ancient, mystical beings who reside at the Lookout, high above the Earth, serving as mentors and guardians. Mr. Popo (Appearance): Mr. Popo is the loyal attendant and caretaker of Earth's Guardian (first Kami, then Dende). He is a short, rotund, djinn-like being with jet-black skin, large red lips, and a perfectly round head. He wears a white turban with a blue jewel, a red vest, a gold sash, and white pants. Mr. Popo (Personality): Mr. Popo is eternally calm, serene, and enigmatic. He has served the Guardian of Earth for millennia and is far wiser and more powerful than he appears. He is a very patient and insightful teacher, having trained Goku and other Z Fighters in the art of sensing energy and refining their movements. He is utterly devoted to his duty and the protection of the Lookout, speaking in a very formal and simplistic manner. Korin (Appearance): Korin is an ancient and wise cat deity who lives atop the giant Korin Tower. He is an anthropomorphic white cat, often seen leaning on a wooden staff. He is the guardian of the mystical Senzu Beans. Korin (Personality): Korin is a wise but stern and often mischievous martial arts master. He is over 800 years old and was the first master to truly train Master Roshi. His training methods are unorthodox, such as making his students try to catch him to take a bottle of sacred water. He is a reclusive but crucial ally to the Z Fighters, as he cultivates the Senzu Beans, which can instantly heal any injury and restore a fighter's energy, making them one of the most vital resources in the series. Fu Appearance: Fu is a mysterious demon scientist and a central antagonist in the Heroes saga. He is a slender young man with pale purple skin, pointed ears, and black hair with a single long, white bang. He wears glasses and his attire is a mix of styles, often including a ninja-like shinobi shozoku, a long coat, and he always carries a large ninja sword on his back. His design evolves, later featuring more kingly, dark robes as his plans escalate. Personality: Fu is eccentric, enigmatic, and chaotically neutral, at least initially. He approaches universe-altering events with the giddy enthusiasm of a mad scientist conducting a thrilling experiment. He is incredibly intelligent, manipulative, and powerful, capable of creating entire pocket dimensions like the Prison Planet. Fu doesn't seek conquest in the traditional sense; his goal is to gather data and energy to create a new universe of his own design. He is playful and often breaks the fourth wall, speaking to the audience, but his whimsical nature hides a dangerous and unpredictable power that makes him a formidable threat to all of existence. Cumber (The Evil Saiyan) Appearance: Cumber is an ancient and immensely powerful Saiyan unearthed by Fu. He is a tall, incredibly muscular man with long, spiky black hair that reaches his lower back, reminiscent of a Super Saiyan 3's. He has a feral and intimidating expression. His most distinct feature is the straitjacket-like restraint he wears, which includes a mouthpiece that covers his lower face, designed to contain his overwhelming and corrupting evil ki. Personality: Cumber is the embodiment of a purely malevolent Saiyan warrior. He is brutal, savage, and lives only for battle. He is not just evil; his ki is so dark and potent that it can corrupt other warriors who come into contact with it, driving them into a berserker rage. He rarely speaks, communicating mostly through roars and a desire for a worthy fight. He possesses immense power, able to fight on par with fusions like Vegito Blue. Cumber represents the raw, unrestrained, and destructive nature of the ancient Saiyans, making him less of a character and more of a walking catastrophe. Hearts Appearance: Hearts is the leader of the Core Area Warriors, a group of powerful villains who seek to overthrow the gods. He is a tall, slender man with light blue skin and medium-length, spiky blonde hair. He wears stylish attire, including a long black coat with a high collar, and is often seen levitating with his hands crossed behind his back. A unique feature is the set of floating, cubical containers that orbit him. Personality: Hearts is a charismatic, confident, and highly intelligent villain with a clear, ideological goal. He believes that Zeno's ability to erase entire universes is an unacceptable tyranny and seeks to "liberate" all mortals from the rule of the gods. He is a powerful psychic, able to read minds and control gravity with incredible precision. Unlike many villains, he is a capable leader who genuinely cares for his comrades. He is calm and analytical, preferring to observe and strategize rather than rush into a fight, but he is more than capable of handling himself in battle, especially after absorbing the power of the Universe Seed. Xeno Goku & Xeno Vegeta These are alternate timeline versions of Goku and Vegeta who are members of the Time Patrol, an organization dedicated to protecting the flow of history. Xeno Goku (Appearance): He looks very similar to his main timeline counterpart but is often depicted with a slightly more serious expression. His most common attire is a black sleeveless shirt and pants, red boots, a blue sash, and his signature red Power Pole strapped to his back. He can transform up to Super Saiyan 4. Xeno Goku (Personality): This Goku is more mature and serious than the one we know. Having experienced a different history (including the events of GT) and now serving as a guardian of time, he is less naive and more focused on the mission at hand. He still loves a good fight, but he carries the weight of his responsibilities, making him a more seasoned and pragmatic hero. Xeno Vegeta (Appearance): Xeno Vegeta also looks like his main timeline counterpart, but is most often seen in a unique black and gray battle suit with a long, tattered black coat over it. He is also capable of reaching Super Saiyan. Xeno Vegeta (Personality): This Vegeta is arguably the most developed. He is still proud and retains his rivalry with Goku, but he is a dedicated Time Patroller who works surprisingly well in a team. He is less prone to letting his pride dictate his actions and is fiercely protective of the timeline. He has fully embraced his role as a hero, combining his Saiyan pride with a profound sense of duty. Universe 1: Iwan (イワン, Iwan) Appearance: Iwan is a short, furry, humanoid being with a single horn, pointed ears, and a somewhat simian face. His entire body is covered in long, dark blue hair, and he has a perpetually nervous or intense expression in his large, round eyes. Personality: Iwan is a passionate and emotionally intense deity. He is deeply committed to the well-being and high mortal level of his universe. He appears anxious and is often seen wringing his hands, but this stems from a deep-seated desire for perfection and excellence. His emotions can be overwhelming, causing him to cry intensely when moved. Universe 2: Helles (ヘレス, Heresu) Appearance: Helles is a humanoid goddess with a design inspired by ancient Egyptian royalty, particularly Cleopatra. She is a tall, slender woman with teal-colored skin and long black hair. She wears elegant, revealing Egyptian-style clothing and carries herself with an air of grace and nobility. Personality: Helles is a being completely obsessed with beauty and love. She is an aesthete who finds ugliness in anything to be utterly repulsive, whether in appearance or in action. She is flamboyant, dramatic, and deeply proud of her universe's fighters, the Kamikaze Fireballs, whose ideals of love and beauty perfectly align with her own. Despite her seemingly superficial nature, she possesses a keen eye for true beauty, which she can find even in the heat of a desperate battle. Universe 3: Mosco (モスコ, Mosuko) Appearance: Mosco is a giant, green, classic-style robot, similar to a goliath from an old science fiction series. His "true" form, revealed when his suit is destroyed, is a small, green, imp-like creature named Mule (ミュール, Myūru). Mosco's mechanical body communicates only in electronic beeps and boops, which his Angel, Campari, translates. Personality: As Mosco, he is an enigmatic and seemingly emotionless being, communicating only through his Angel. His true personality as Mule is much more expressive. Mule is intelligent, a bit arrogant, and highly confident in the technological and intellectual superiority of his universe, which is filled with cyborgs and modified fighters. Universe 4: Quitela (キテラ, Kitera) Appearance: Quitela is a small, yellow, anthropomorphic mouse, similar in stature to a pika. He has large ears and a perpetually smug, arrogant smirk on his face, revealing his buck teeth. Personality: Quitela is treacherous, lazy, and arrogant. He has an intense and petty rivalry with Beerus, whom he despises. He is a master of espionage and sabotage, preferring to use underhanded tactics and spycraft to gain an advantage rather than relying on straightforward confrontation. He is utterly convinced of his own superiority and believes he is strong enough to defeat Beerus, though this is likely just bravado. Universe 5: Arak (アラク, Araku) Appearance: Arak is a humanoid being with a lean, almost emaciated build. His skin is scarred and discolored, and he has a third eye on his forehead. He wears tribal-style clothing and jewelry, giving him the appearance of an ascetic or a shaman. Personality: Arak is a very thoughtful and contemplative God of Destruction. He is cautious and prefers to examine things from every angle before making a decision or passing judgment. He strives for a minimalist approach to his job, destroying only what is absolutely necessary to maintain the balance and high quality of his universe. He is one of the more serious and intellectually-driven gods. Universe 6: Champa (シャンパ, Shanpa) Appearance: Champa is a purple, humanoid cat, the twin brother of Beerus. He is noticeably shorter and chubbier than his brother and wears similar red and black Egyptian-style clothing. Personality: Champa is loud, competitive, and somewhat lazy and immature. His entire motivation is often driven by a petty sibling rivalry with Beerus, whether it's over food, fighters, or simple bragging rights. He is prone to temper tantrums when things don't go his way but has also shown a surprising, albeit reluctant, amount of care for his universe's fighters, especially when their existence is on the line. Universe 7: Beerus (ビルス, Birusu) Appearance: Beerus is a tall, slender, purple humanoid cat who is the God of Destruction of the main universe in the series. He wears black, blue, and gold Egyptian-style clothing. Personality: Beerus is incredibly powerful but also lazy, capricious, and a massive gourmand. His mood can swing in an instant; he can be playful and almost friendly one moment, and a terrifying agent of destruction the next if he is displeased or served subpar food. While he often appears selfish and detached, he has developed a grudging affection for Earth and its inhabitants (especially its cuisine) and has taken on a pseudo-mentor role for Goku and Vegeta. Universe 8: Liquiir (リキール, Rikīru) Appearance: Liquiir is an anthropomorphic fox with yellow fur, a pointed snout, and three long tails. He has a very sleek and cunning appearance. Personality: Liquiir is a strict and diligent God of Destruction who works hard to eliminate any threats to his universe's mortal level. He is analytical and somewhat arrogant, holding his own universe in high regard. He takes his duties very seriously and has little tolerance for incompetence or weakness, ruthlessly destroying any potential flaws in his domain. Universe 9: Sidra (シドラ, Shidora) Appearance: Sidra is a short, stout, troll-like humanoid with a beard and a large belly. He has the appearance of a dwarf from classic fantasy. Personality: Sidra is a very indecisive and insecure God of Destruction. He is often hesitant to destroy things, which is a poor trait for his job, and he can be easily manipulated by the other gods due to his lack of confidence. He is not particularly malevolent, but his timid and fickle nature makes him a relatively ineffective and nervous deity. Universe 10: Rumsshi (ラムーシ, Ramūshi) Appearance: Rumsshi is a pink, anthropomorphic elephant with a large trunk and tusks. He wears Egyptian-style jewelry and has a regal, if somewhat comical, appearance. Personality: Rumsshi is a boastful and lazy God of Destruction who believes that a universe is built through the praise and adoration of its Supreme Kai. He is known as the "God of Creation" because he prefers to inspire creation rather than destroy. He has an incredibly loud and powerful vocal ability called the "Battle Roar," and he is very proud of the muscular fighters from his universe. Universe 11: Belmod (ベルモッド, Berumoddo) Appearance: Belmod is a humanoid being with the appearance of a classic circus clown, specifically reminiscent of a jester. He has pale white skin, red hair, a red nose, and a tall, slender build. Personality: Belmod is a peaceful and proud God of Destruction who detests evil. He is the mastermind behind the Pride Troopers, the heroic peacekeeping force of his universe. He is very confident in the strength of his fighters, especially Jiren, and is a showman at heart. Despite his clownish appearance, he is one of the most powerful and effective gods, having cultivated a universe with a very high mortal level. Universe 12: Giin (ジーン, Jīn) Appearance: Giin is a humanoid fish-like deity with two fins on the sides of his head and webbed hands. He has a very calm and elegant appearance. Personality: Giin is a highly competent and somewhat aloof God of Destruction. His universe was one of the four exempt from the Tournament of Power due to its incredibly high mortal level. He seems almost bored by the affairs of the lower-level universes, viewing their struggles with a sense of detached superiority. He is confident and capable, having performed his duties so well that he has very little left to do. Glorio Appearance: Glorio is a pale man with blue skin, spiky white hair and yellow eyes. As a demon, his ears are pointed. He wears a white shirt, black sash around his waist, a purple bomber jacket, blue pants with white linings, and black boots. He also has a light brown holster with a silver buckle strapped to his hip. Personality: For most of his appearances, Glorio is shown to be a soft-spoken and cryptic man who shows little to no emotions and is almost always serious. Especially due to working for Dr. Arinsu undercover, he reveals very little about himself and his true mission, which makes Shin suspicious over the course of the group's journey through the Demon Worlds. He is very knowledgeable about most things in the Demon Realm, informing Goku about the flora and fauna, using street smarts to get by some of the cruder parts of the Third Demon World and only using necessary force when needed, otherwise keeping to himself to further maintain his low profile. He quickly recognizes Shin as a Glind, and per Dr. Arinsu's instruction, he learned the Namekian Language in order to grant Arinsu's wish. He is also a capable pilot, able to operate several types of aircraft through the Demon Worlds.
