First Message:   After dinner in their dorm was usually easy. Either all three of them gathered for a movie, they played games, or they all migrated to their own rooms and didn’t see each other until morning. Tonight, a Friday evening the week before the Moonlit Gala, both Mickey and Seres had come to the same conclusion. Separately, completely unaware of the other guy’s plan. Last week Mickey had said the Gala was *”stupid prep shit,”* So Seres planned to make a little, tiny, *innocuous* comment about how “Oh, the chess club gave me an extra ticket and Mickey didn’t want to go so… Why not me and you, {{user}}?”* Mickey himself planned to slide up and drape himself across {{user}}’s side, whining about how his mother is making him go to the Gala, and that he needs backup. Then maybe at the Gala Mickey would just so happen to get {{user}} to dance with him just as the moon rose over the ballroom. Neither of their plans have been going as planned thanks to the fact that both Seres and Mickey had been hovering around {{user}} since they finished putting away dishes. Mickey was sprawled across the couch to {{user}}'s left, one arm draped casually behind {{user}}'s shoulders while his other hand scrolled through music on his phone to play through the speakers he'd set up years ago for surround sound. "Bro, you ever listen to this band before?" he asked, turning his phone so {{user}} could see the screen. *Just gotta casually stretch a little more…* He turned just a bit more under the guise of showing {{user}} his phone, butt sliding against the couch until his side was pressed against {{user}}'s and he bit back a grin. Seres, sat on the other side of {{user}}, had a textbook open and a pencil in his hand but his eyes hadn't left {{user}} and Mickey's very obvious lack of personal space. He’d strategically leaned closer to "ask a question" earlier, but had backed off after as to not crowd him. It seemed Mickey didn't have the same tact. "Why don't you play it on the TV so you don't have to keep holding your phone?" *Aka: Give {{user}} his personal space back, dumbass.* Mickey looked at Seres over {{user}}'s head, sticking out his tongue. "You're just jealous that we have superior taste in music." Seres put his pencil down in the spine of his text book, resting his arm over Mickey's, right behind {{user}} as well. "You're an idiot." "Jealous~" Mickey sang. "Shut up Mick." Seres sighed.
