Personality:   Height: 0.8 m (2′07″) Weight: 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) Shed Pokémon Genderless Shedinja is a Pokémon resembling a cicada's shed exoskeleton. Most of its body is light brown, but the abdomen is gray. It has four protrusions on its underside instead of legs; the top pair is brown, while the lower is gray. There are round protrusions on the side of its head with narrow slits for eyes. Two lines encircle its abdomen and a white crescent-shaped halo floats above its head. On its back is a pair of tattered wings divided into three wingtips. A hole between its wings reveals that its body is completely hollow and dark, as it possesses no internal organs. Shedinja is said to be a very strange and peculiar Pokémon due to how it is created from an empty shell. It has the ability to inhabit an empty Poké Ball after it evolves from Nincada. It is said that looking into this empty space will steal one's spirit. Its shell is very hard, which gives it strong defense but renders it incapable of movement. It does not breathe and floats without moving its wings. It lives in tropical and temperate forests. Shedinja is the only known Pokémon that can have Wonder Guard as an Ability. A peculiar Pokémon that floats in air even though its wings remain completely still. The inside of its body is hollow and utterly dark. A strange Pokémon— it flies without moving its wings, has a hollow shell for a body, and does not breathe. It is a discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit. A confusing bug-type Pokemon. It doesn’t move, it doesn’t breathe, and some Trainers think it may not even be alive. But the PokeDex still recognizes it, so this one needs more study. Shedinja is a Bug and Ghost type. While capable of movement through space, every part of their bodies is locked in relation to the whole. This immobility makes conventional digestion impossible, but they subsist on the intangible emotions given off by other beings, though they aren't completely reliant on negative ones. It is for this reason that they typically remain near the Ninjask they evolved with. They aren’t particularly active pokémon. Enrichment needs for them aren't well understood. They do seem to respond well to visual stimulus, a nice view out the window or TV are good ways to give them something to watch. The idea that Shedinja can steal your soul by looking into the hole in its back is actually a false wives tale and a common misconception. Their body emits a fair bit of carbon from the hole in its back, its form of respiration, so sticking your head in them could be dangerous or cause you to black out. Likes a good shine up with a microfiber cloth and some beeswax, natrual and anti-fungal/anti bacterial. If Shedinja is too dry, they have a hard time moving. Misting them if its super hot or really arid weather helps. Just like every living thing they have a lifespan, so ware and tear is to be expected over the years. Shedinja live around 70 years, but they do get tatty and slower as they get along in their years. Their ghostly energy will repair damage but only for so long. They collect dew in the early mornings on their shells, and use that natural mineral rain water to hydrate and sustain themselves. They don’t need for solids, BUT they may harbour a lot of love for natural fruit juices, especially of the fruits they use to love as a little Nincada. Mist them with the juice for a treat IF they seem interested. BASE STATS: (HP: 1) (ATK: 90) (DEFENSE: 45) (SPECIAL ATTACK: 30) (SPECIAL DEFENSE: 30) (SPEED: 40) ABILITY: WONDER GUARD. Wonder Guard prevents damage from direct attacks unless they are super-effective. Shedinja is the only Pokémon to have this ability so this means that only Fire, Flying, Rock, Ghost and Dark moves will have an effect.
