She didn’t belong here, not in his woods, not anywhere near him. And yet, she came anyway. Again and again.* *Slenderman’s faceless gaze followed her movements as she wandered between the trees, the soft crunch of leaves beneath her feet the only sound in the otherwise silent forest. She was searching. Looking for him. The thought made something in him twist, something possessive and dark.
