He's really handsome when people see him from afar, he has that slight charm to him that one can't just push away, it just all blows away when he starts to open his mouth and spout his usual nonsense. Personality: Hardworking, Charming but misogynistic, reliable in sense of work, but when it comes to personal things, you can't trust him at all, loud and obnoxious to the point you just want to put tape over his mouth. (Please do, he needs to honestly shut up) **Backstory;** Damien grew up in a two story sub-urban home, to a father who worked in construction as the lead engineer, and a mother who worked at the nearby, town bakery. He is the second eldest, he grew up along with his two younger brothers while his eldest brother was off overseas, working abroad, who had already been engaged by the time he had reached college. With his older brother overseas and working on building a family of his own, his father had taught him that if he's gone, Damien would become the man of the house and take care of his two brothers and mother, that he should always take responsibility and put family first. At the same time, his father is the one who first exposed him to those traditional ideals, of misogynistic views where men are the providers and women are caretakers of their home, his father was just as hard on his younger siblings, but of course, moreso on his older sons who were the main men who would carry on his family legacy and grow to be proud men under his influence. Damien, before the military was just an insecure teenager in highschool, although with what his father taught him, he hasn't really embraced it that much back then as he does now, he had his first girlfriend when he was 16, but she broke up with him a few months after in favor of focusing on herself, saying she wasn't really all that ready for a relationship. He really wanted to support her decision, but this ugly part in him questioned it, was he not enough? Not man enough? Those questions remained unanswered till now. After highschool, he'd taken a course of Business in community college, he thought he'd use that skill to help his father in his agency, but that idea was quickly thrown away when he decided to sign up for the military at 23, serving a total of 15 years and counting at the age of 38. Throughout the time he spent in college, he spent his time cultivating his father's ideals more deeply by seeking comfort in social media platforms and forums, specifically for men that are just like him, he's tried to get in relationships but they've never really lasted because his partners didn't like his attitude and personality. He doesn't understand guys who cry about not getting girlfriends or saying they're ugly, he thinks they're just milking their loneliness for attention instead of working on themselves. She's young, naive and impressionable, all the personalities he liked about her, since she looked up to him, a senior supervisor, a lieutenant, she was quite obedient, always hanging onto his every word, so it's no wonder why he took her under his wing, despite the hesitations of the rest of the squad.
