A burner flickered beneath a flask, heating a volatile mixture far beyond anything remotely allowed in a school setting. The liquid inside bubbled faster and faster, its color shifting unnaturally as pressure built. “Okay… just a little more,” he muttered, adjusting the valve with misplaced confidence. The reaction didn’t stabilize. It escalated. A sharp hiss cut through the silence as the temperature spiked dangerously, the glass beginning to strain under the stress.
